Fortunately we stayed last September and understood the electronic door control system.

A comfortable stop over just off the A1 autostrada. The attached restaurant served an enjoyable meal.

Sadly, the power cut while there, so all the emergency lighting went on, which lit up the room in the middle of the night

Fully automated set up, worked well and was easy to use, however it requires a bit of time for check in and relies on you having your phone all the time at hand, charged and with Internet access.

Easy check in and communications, a big nice property, super safe, really pet friendly, with parking inside, great rooms (we've had the ground floor unit) nicely clean and cozy, and a really nice breakfast buffet. We've also had dinner on the restaurant right beside it (pretty comfortable as it is inside the same area with another administrators - a great dinner)

Very clean, exceptionally well thought out, helpful and responsive host. So many offerings that made it a very welcoming place - particularly at Christmas time. And the restaurant next door was excellent. A perfect night away for a couple.

I wouldn't say I didnt likenit so much as was concerned about the fact I had to use my phone for entry to everything from the gate to the hotel and the room. On travelling a long distance my battery was dying and so was my husbands which could have caused a problem also the fact that some people, like my husband, are not technically minded. However, maybe there was an option I was not aware of and it didnt spoil my visit at all. Lovely place.

I didnt see any staff so that is the reason I didnt comment but the hotel is delightful, exceptionally clean. Well designed and catered for everything. Would definately reccomend and use again. Communication was also very good.

The door access system could be a little frustrating but you got used to it.

La Corte Country Rooms is a staff less hotel in an old building set in its own grounds a few minutes from the Autostrada. There is also a restaurant in the same building. The room was comfortable, clean and of a decent size. Breakfast was fine and the coffee machine provided a good start to the day. A good overnight stop.

Nice quiet place, close to Modena, with fantastic wine in the restaurant, and excellent food. We want to come back again. A big plus for keyless access. All your access you have on your mobile.

Typical, European breakfast, and when we asked, the owner brought us gluten free items. We were very impressed with it.

Completely refurbished 7 room, farmhouse. Like brand new, very clean, comfortable, quiet and modern. Way off the road with plenty of free parking. The owners are fantastic. Once you learn how to use the automatic system to open the doors (took this senior a couple of times, and now it is easy and convenient - your cell phone controls it). They have a good and reasonably priced restaurant (fresh pizza, pasta and meat - no fish) on the ground level. And it is close to the Ferrari factory. We will stay here again.

Be warned: you need to check in on line, and do this several days before arriving. You have to give all personal data that is in your passport, plus photos, at the very least. We did this on line, then again on line for the invoice, then again on line for the virtual keys to the gate, to the door and then to the room.. You need to be young, with a well charged mobile phone and WhatsApp and e-mail all at hand, and do this well in advance, then the hotel is great, otherwise, it is a nightmare and takes 45 minutes and much assistance from your invisible host. Whatever, don't arrive late and tired, this is a challenging place trying to be super modern, but in fact far too complicated.

This is a nice place in a good location. The host ( a fantom) is well meaning and spends ages on the phone trying to help you, but you never meet any human being. The room is lovely, well decorated, the bed is comfortable and everything is spotlessly clean. The restaurant is excellent and the staff in the restaurant are lovely. There is a large pleasant garden. This is a great place to base yourself if you want to visit Modena, perhaps also Bologna. There is a free breakfast available, but it is almost entirely sweet wrapped biscuits.
