You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaOur room had a tub with a hand held shower nozzle, which, like every Italian tub/handheld shower, got water everywhere. The other room had a full shower, and since it was separated from our friends' room with its own foyer, we used that. Also, for those who care, you have to walk up a lot of stairs to the room. Public parking is a couple hundred yards downhill from the room. But for an old Italian townhome, all that is to be expected.
Annamaria was such a wonderful host and has prepared a journey back in time in her rooms in the ancient town of Laterina. The location is perfect for day trips all around Tuscany. We went to Chianti, Montepulciano, Arezzo, of course Siena, and other little towns (Anghiari), and the visit was exquisite. One hour to Florence. The room was huge, comfortable, air conditioned, and decorated with antiques. We also had use of the kitchen and living/dining area, which is shared with another room, which our friends had rented. So we basically had a full apartment. Annamaria left us treats outside the room every night and was very eager for us to have fun. There was a medival festival in town while we were there, which was very raucous and fun late into the night. It was our friends' first time in Italy, and they had a ball.
