Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. United KingdomLovely stay at La Gaggia, a calm oasis after a busy day sightseeing on the Amalfi coast. Breakfast was a highlight, all fresh produce from the garden and great cappuccinos. Nice to be welcomed each morning by the friendly little dogs. Also big thank you to Dominico for being very accommodating. Our flight landed late and we didn’t arrive until 2am, he waited up and ensured a smooth arrival and check-in.

La Gaggia is one of the greatest B&B’s I have stayed in. Domenico and his family are so helpful and friendly, keen to give helpful tips and offering a tour around the farm. It is a beautiful setting with lots of different fruit trees. The breakfast is delicious, lots of fresh fruits and produce on offer. Only a 5 minute walk from the train station and a very tranquil place to stay.

The homemade scrambled eggs from the chickens in the garden were especially delicious. The house has a large and beautiful garden. We especially want to thank Dominico and his family for the great hospitality. We will definitely come again!

GreeceI don’t know where to start We had a lovely week in la gaggia. First of all, the hospitality of Domenico and his family is amazing. He is always so polite , ready to help with great recommendations of local places to visit. He even printed for us the bus and ferry s timetables. They are working hard all day to provide an excellent service. “La gaggia” is a family business and by staying there you support a small business as well. The place is incredible. Many gardens to relax in , sun-beds, tables and swing hammocks. The rooms was spotless clean ,with plenty of space , ac, small fridge and a great balcony . The breakfast was simple but has everything. Pastries, jams, cheese, ham( plus more) and fresh eggs for their own chickens ,that Domenico prepared for you in the spot however you like them. The best cappuccino and lovely homemade desserts. Plenty of fruits to choose from and a great farm to fork ethos as they grow them in their own gardens. It is in a great location, good area, not in a very touristic spot and truly a hidden gem. Quiet and relaxing.Great parking spot in the shadow inside the property. There are beaches nearby within a 15 minute walk or by scooter/car 5 minutes. The small dogs ( Astra, Fedra , Andrea and Byron) are always there to greet you , so friendly and playful! The check in and check out are very easy and they have wheelchair accessibility plus a lift. It’s a must for animal and farm lovers.I wish I had more stars to give them and we are really looking forward to visit again. Grazie Mille !!!

United KingdomThe owner, Dominic’s, was superb and nothing was too much trouble. He knew all the best ways to make the most of the region and was full of useful knowledge. The breakfast was amazing with fresh fruit, homemade cakes and eggs from the garden every day. The train station is a five minute stroll and Sorrento is two stops (5minutes) away so you get all the attractions of Sorrento at a fraction of the cost.

United KingdomThat we couldn't stay longer!! Everything was perfect.
I loved the fact we were greeted warmly like family when we arrived. Domenico and his family couldn't do enough for us, from giving us tips about where to go, to making us a lovely breakfast in the morning and even very kindly dropping us at the bus station when we left. What a lovely place this is. It's a slice of tranquility so that you can totally relax!

NetherlandsEverything times 10. This is one of the best guest houses I've ever been. Domenico and his entire family are taking care of you as if you're a king/queen and will make sure you're not lacking anything. The rooms are spotless, and comfortable, and against my expectations being cleaned on a daily basis. The house itself and its and garden are amazing: big, royal, lucious. The breakfast contains everything one would need, there's sweet and savoury choices, and on top of that, Domenico is preparing you some fresh eggs and coffee/tea/choc milk. The location of the house is also perfect. Piano di Sorrento itself is cosy and quiet, but the perfect stay for a wider range of the touristic hotspots. It's only a 10 min walk to the trainstation, that brings you to Sorrento, Napoli, Pompei,.... and also the amalfi coast is easily reachable by bus. This family that for us contained out of Domenico, and his papà, and Tia Imma, and the 4 little sweetheart dogs our son could play with are the best. If we knew in advance, we would have made this our base stay for 14 days, to visit amalfi, and all the other names places. And from the moment we left, we already missed them. This is service with a heart, and leaving them is heartache. Thanks for everything, beautiful family, and arrividerci!

The accommodation was beautiful! The house was a beautiful Italian style house and the surroundings gardens were awesome. Dominico was so so friendly and helpful and made our stay an absolute pleasure. The location was a short train rude away from Sorrento but the town itself was much less crowded. I can not more highly recommend La Gaggia!

GermanyLa Gaggia is a small family-run guesthouse and you cann feel the warm-hearted flair in so many ways. The whole family is super kind, caring and really does everything to make their guests feel like in paradise. The senior founder even took the time to guide us through the HUGE garden area explaining all the different kinds of fruits and vegetables he grows there. These are also the fruits you will be able to enjoy during breakfast and the whole day. They also have a large chicken pen that even hosts a peacock. The eggs served for breakfast are from exactly these chicken, so everything is always served super fresh. The house is very cosy and furnished in style with vintage wooden furniture. Our room was large and very comfortable and we even had a rooftop terrace. Upon arrival, we were immediately welcomed by the four small dogs that are very cuddly and the host immediately served us fresh juice from the home-grown lemons while he gave us plenty of suggestions for trips, handed us timetables for busses, trains and even ferries.

CanadaEverything was absolutely perfect. Nothing to not adore. Thank you!!
This was by far the most exquisite stay we have had. The setting of lemon and orange trees and beautiful gardens everywhere was very tranquil and relaxing. The chickens, roosters and peacock added to the organic vista. The hosts were so lovely, helpful and inviting; they treated us like family. Their 4 dogs were adorable and very friendly. The breakfasts were outstanding, with freshly squeezed orange juice, cappuccino, farm fresh eggs and produce, home made pastries etc; all arranged beautifully. The beds were super comfy and clean. A very safe, fenced in facility. Five plus stars!!!

AMAZING 5/5 1st up we were greeted warmly such a beautiful family of Dominiquo’s including Nona and Aunty. This property has the all the charm and beauty that you would expect of Italy. You can go for a peaceful walk amongst an amazing casting of various fruit trees, chickens and 4 beautiful resident dogs. It is safe and secure, serene, peaceful and not far from the marina. 5 mins walk from station ( flat ). The breakfast is an abundance of fresh mainly homemade produce, freshly squeezed OJ, freshly laid eggs and much more. I would stay for longer than 2 days next time. I will be back. The room was clean and comfortable with seperate toilet and bathroom both in room. Very good for travelling with friends Roomy enough for all 3 of us and suitcases. It was an absolutely pleasurable stay. All enjoyed the peace and relaxing atmosphere. These guys are so accommodating Love love love. Thank you
