I can say that the duvets we covered ourselves with were very old and worn. Please change them.You can diversify your breakfast a bit, add more options. Food and drinks a bit pricey, but considering the area.

Villa located in Scala, near Ravello, has an extraordinary view. We got the room on the top floor. Overall, it was clean in the room and bathroom, equipped with fridge and air conditioning. Heat in the room, in April being cooler, hot water in the shower. Breakfast was ok, we are not fussy, just enough to eat in the morning and have a coffee. We liked that we had free parking available at the accommodation for our rented car. Pizza with porcini was amazing.

Really nice place with an amazing view ! The rooms are really sweet. The place is more old so it makes a bit of noises like in the bathroom but it’s not too bad ! At all it was a great stay and we will come back ! 💗

Some people could argue that the furniture is back dated but the villa has been around for some time now, for me it was perfect because the location is great!

I guess you have to watch out for late night cravings because the kitchen is closed at that time but other than not much else to dislike

We loved the room they gave us with a large terrace overlooking the valley and mountains. The staff who were very friendly and elderly lady at breakfast who was so sweet and made incredible coffee. It’s a short (20min walk) to Ravello and much better, calmer and friendlier than staying in Amalfi or Positano

Not enough variety at breakfast. The rooms were dated.

The view from the hotel and the room was amazing, overlooking Ravello. Pool area looked great but we didn't use it. Friendly staff, especially at the breakfast area. The breakfast had some fresh cornetti which were tasty and you could get one coffee. Really quiet location and about a 5 minutes away from the central square in Scala. Ravello was a 20-minute walk, and you could also walk down to Amalfi in about an hour through a series of stairs. There was a bus that could take you to both destinations, or if you have a car there's free parking at the hotel.

Wifi wasn't great but to be expected in the area

Our room was nice and spacious, love the classic Italian decor and the view was amazing overlooking Ravello and Amalfi. Lovely helpful staff who were very accommodating. Clean throughout the hotel, lovely pool area for some downtime.

As the hotel is set high on cliffs/ mountains the internet in slightly weak!

Breakfast was a small buffet with all that you needed. Location was ideal set in a beautiful village just above the Amalfi coast. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food on their menu was great value for money and delicious!

Small bathroom which although was adequate could have a replacement shower cubicle as the door had been replaced by a shower curtain.

Wonderful breakfast with a good choice of items. Breakfast location was in a stunning setting with amazing scenery. The room was clean with balcony and again amazing views looking towards Ravello.

This is a criticism of SITA, not the hotel, but the bus services on Amalfi are truely appalling for such a popular destination. 1 bus an hour from Amalfi to Scala / Scala to Amalfi is a real deal breaker, especially when they don't turn up or are running late (which is almost a given rather than an if).

Really exceptional staff across the board - super accomodating and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was fantastic, whilst the view when eating said breakfast from the balcony, was even better.

We booked a superior room and got a smaller one than specified. The balcony was so small only one person could stand on it with no table or chairs. When we mentioned this to the blonde curly haired reception woman, she was very rude and dismissive. She wasn’t very friendly at all and made us feel very uncomfortable at times. The beds were very uncomfortable too with springs in our backs and pushed together to make a double when it was just 2 singles.

Excellent location with beautiful views of the ocean and Ravello. 20 minute walk into Ravello and 45 minute walk (down steep steps) to Amalfi town. Scala has a bus that comes every half an hour ish too into the town. The majority of the staff were absolutely lovely and sooooo friendly - especially at breakfast! Great pool too. The restaurant food at night was absolutely gorgeous and the wine too! Breakfast was minimal but we loved the croissants and cappuccinos made fresh!

Rooms are small, Showers were tiny , lucky we are small ! But it didn’t bother us just a point to note.

Breathtaking views, fantastic location out of touristy area, very authentic . Beautiful grounds with lush plantation. Loved the clean pool and ability to always get a sun bed. Super friendly staff thanks to be Anna Maria, Francesca and young men at the pool. Loved the large balcony overlooking Ravello. So nice to hear the festival music from across the valley. Would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity again.

Fantastic place! We absolutely loved it - the views are incredible, the location was great, the pool area was lovely, and the staff are always happy to help. A perfect stay for someone who is looking for an authentic, Italian family-owned hotel on the Amalfi coast.
