Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe only complaint was that the pillows on the bed were extremely hard. We didn't get them changed because we were only there a short time but the rooms could do with having a choice.
The hotel have beautiful gardens, which give the place a serene and calm feel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It is good value for money and although it is dated decor wise, and could do with a bit of a spruce up, it has a lovely ambience. It has a sister hotel where you can get spa treatments and use of the beds on the beach, however the thermal mineral pool, which is almost at bath temperature, is blissful. Make sure you take a bathing cap as this is mandatory. It is ideally placed for exploring some of the attractions on the Island.. specifically the Castille D'Aragonese and the harbour. If you are on a b&b basis you can book a dinner for a reasonable rate at breakfast but you are never pressured into having dinner if don't feel like it.

United States of AmericaAs other reviewers have pointed out, the internet was horrible. Even in common areas, we could barely get a signal. The food was only "ok," it's a good deal to save money but gets repetitive and isn't the most delicious. We could barely fit in the tiny shower!
Cute little hotel in Ischia very close to the main street of Ischia Porto. The thermal pool was lovely and the restaurant had gorgeous views! Beautiful gardens all throughout the hotel and quaint rooms. Don't be put off by the dramatic reviews. It's not a luxury hotel but is certainly not horrible! Great value for a weeklong stay in Ischia.

AustriaThe room could be kept a bit more up to date in regards to the interior (for example the mirror was going blind), but it kinda added to the overall charm of the place
The stay at the hotel was only 3 nights long, but it was a relaxed and pleasant affair. The staff was professional, polite, helpful, and overall just great. The food served at dinner was tasty, different options were available, and if needed adjustments made. Breakfast offered also a variety of options, be it savory or sweet.

United KingdomWhilst the bathroom was a decent size the actual shower was quite small and for a big person like me I struggled with the space. The pool area doesnt get the sun all the time because of the trees and shrubbery that surrounds it.
Because of the age and type of building it had a bit of character to it. The room was a decent size with doors out to a patio. Breakfast was adequate although not a huge choice but enough for us. the dining area on the roof top was fabulous with views across the sea. The location of the hotel was very good with restaurants bars and shops all within a couple minutes walk. Beach and harbour a 10 minute stroll.

LithuaniaBreakfast had all basics but no verity, after 6 nights you really get bored of it. And the beach included into the cost was very crowded and if you come not early in the morning, there were no sun beds left. So we went to private paid beach nearby instead which was more comfortable.
I’m second time in this hotel and still love it! Very green outside, good location - 15 min to Porto by foot and 7 mins to the beach. A lot of shops and cafes nearby. The room vas good and clean.

United KingdomThere were some small, unnecessary shortcomings - no kettle/coffee maker in the room, no iron/ironing board available and the balcony was not well screened with the neighbouring room for privacy. Not really 4-star.
The hotel is a charming, characterful building with great gardens and a good-sized, thermal pool. Location is just the right distance from the town and the sea - quiet but convenient.

United KingdomOnly slight issue was I felt that the bed was a little hard and could have used more pillows. The bathroom needs some touching up but it was nothing major.
Amazing location, a traditional hotel in amazing gardens the property is filled with antiques and had a unique decor which we loved. The pool is amazing set in gardens, the water is warm and really helped my back! Staff were super friendly and happy to help, even though we spoke little Italian. I would love to visit again. The room was quiet at the back of the hotel near the pool which we liked. We mainly had the pool to ourselves and it has a very relaxed atmosphere, Drinks served by the pool and snack availble at lunchtime. Short walk to loads of restaurants and bars and shopping if you want that. We didn't travel around the island but probably will next time, glad we went here instead of Capri, it was pleasantly busy and not too overrun with tourists, June is a good time to go.

PolandI was not impressed by the breakfast, there a quite few items to choose from but it mostly consists of sugary products. The pool is open only from 8am to 7:30pm. The hotel doesn't really live up to 4 star facility.
Vegetable buffet for dinner was amazing, so much choice and very tasty, also dessert is included in the price for dinner. The room was spacious. Convenient location close to the port

United KingdomThere wasn't much I didn't like. I was a solo traveller and really enjoyed the hotel.
Location is great - 10min walk from the main port, and literally right on a strip of shops, cafes and restaurants. Reception staff are excellent and very helpful with any information I requested. Private beach is a short walk, maybe about 5-10 mins but again staff were very helpful with directions. Continental breakfast very good and if a nice day you can sit outside to eat with nice views.

Beautiful location right off a side street off of the main shopping pedestrian area and a long walk away to the castle. Spacious bathroom, average size room and little balcony with a table and chairs. We opted for dinner and breakfast and both were surprisingly good. To get around we took the bus across the island to visit ancient mud baths and thermal water.

United KingdomOverall it the stay was good, but just not as good as previous years. I have stayed at this hotel 2 times previously and it was excellent. This third time they didn't quite provide the same experience. The room was much smaller than my previous visits. Towels were clean, but very old. The pool previous years seemed better than this time. I'm not sure why though. Breakfast didn't have as many options, but is still a good selection.
The location is great with easy access to the main shopping street and to the beach. The hotel grounds are lovely and peaceful. The bar staff are amazing and so accommodating. The food served is good with a good range of even meal options. Beach chairs and umbrellas are now free for use.
