Overall our experience was beyond positive. There were a couple of moments for improvement. The shower couldn’t be put on a higher level. For a tall person (2 m) it was uncomfortable. There were no bed lights. It was an inconvenience for me as I like reading before going to bed.

The great host, Ilaria was involved into our trip as we were open to her recommendations which were very helpful and smart! We are eternally grateful for all her tips! The place looks very unique and cosy. Ilaria also pays much attention to the hygiene of the place. The location is perfect: walking distance from the city center with the main sightseeing but outside of the main noise. We felt very welcome at the place.

I’m a hotel person and never stay in bed & breakfasts. In all my years of travel, I never encountered a concierge as knowledgeable and helpful as Ilaria, so whatever doubts I may have had in advance about the accommodations were far outweighed by the service we received.

Ilaria, our hostess, was exceptionally kind and helpful. Her knowledge of the area, recommendations of what and when to see various sights, made our trip even more special. The location was ideal, but Ilaria was without peer.

Illaria was the most generous, kind and helpful host we have ever come across. She provided some of the best recommendations, made a yummy breakfast every morning and was able to accomodate any request that we had. The rooms were tidied everyday, and was in walking distance to anywhere we wanted to go. She even helped booking a delicious restaurant for my birthday. I could not recommend this place more!

For some guests the three story walk up may be an issue

1. The hostess was thr best. She welcomed into her home and gave us great suggestions for exploring for sites to see and for restaurants 2. Location was very conveient and walkable to old city

The street can be a little bit noisy (it is rare, most of the time it's REALLY quiet). Except that, everything was perfect.

we were here one week. We are pleasantly surprised by the hospitality, cleanliness, atmosphere and help, just everything. Ilaria took care of everything and was constantly helpful. Room and bathroom cleaned and disinfected daily. Great breakfast and even better Coffee. Great Family Atmosphere. Thank you for everything and we wish you all the best. Certainly, once in Como, we will only live here at Ilaria.

As the room was close to the street, it was a bit noisy during the night due to the traffic.

It was quite warm so we slept with the balcony door open but there were constant noises, like from an air con, making it difficult to sleep.

Ilaria is an amazing host with great attention to cleanliness and detail. She gave us lots of advice what to do and how to get around. She also kindly took care to accommodate my dietary requirements for the breakfast!

The host is very caring and generally helpful. Wouldn’t have been the same without her. The places to eat she recommends are consistently excellent. The location is great! Air conditioning is very much a must during the summer, as it gets extremely hot. We enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this B&B without reservations!

everything was wonderful

We loved everything about our stay, the property, and the hostess. The location is great- right by the old town and close to two of the train stations. The hostess, Ilaria, is amazing, told us all about the best restaurants to eat at and the best places to visit. We felt like we were visiting a friend. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. The apartment has a lot of character, attention to details, and super clean and comfortable. We hope to visit again!
