Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BelgiumNot dislikes per se, but a few things to keep in mind: there are very steep narrow stairs to get your stuff up to the b&b, in case Aldo isn’t there to lend a hand; there are a few hangers but no closet, which some might find inconvenient during a longer stay; as in the fotos, there’s a transparent window into the room from the jacuzzi/shower, which is fine for couples…but maybe not for others 😜
The brother/sister team of Aldo & Elisabetta have made a welcoming romantic getaway in Lecce’s old town. The Glamour Deluxe room is perfect for couples looking for a relaxing break - an amazingly comfortable bed, delicious freshly made breakfasts to start your day (you order the night before for an 8:30-10 service), and a jacuzzi that’s a dream after touristing around all day. Elisabetta keeps the rooms absolutely spotless. Parking is convenient on the parallel road (we used the one on Via Adua with the proper barrier, €50 for four days, not the one on the corner that’s an open lot).

Well located in the historic center and near the avenues where to park, the property is very well restored and clean. The Fashion Room is the smallest and with a nice vaulted ceiling with opening on the skylight. Although small, it’s well designed and it has a comfortable bathroom en suite. Suitable for short stays or overnight stays for business reasons. Suitable only for small luggage!

DenmarkAldo and his sister are perfect hosts. The old family house is delicately restored and situated perfectly for seeing Lecce - and still in a very quiet street. We would go here again...

United KingdomOnly the wasps on the terrace but not much could be done about that! It's nature.
The room was spotlessly clean and incredibly well appointed with large bathroom with jacuzzi bath and rain shower and really romantically lit. Coffee machine was welcome and the room felt fully luxurious with electronic blinds. Light and airy in the day and cozy at night. There is also a sofa bed which is useful should your partner be a snorer (like me haha). The main selling point of this hotel, however, is Aldo the host. On a par with the best communication I have had prior to and during a stay. Answers queries within minutes and always on hand to offer help and suggestions. It is a smaller place than I thought and we had the place to ourselves in early October, which felt very special. Parking is easy in a nearby guarded car park as Lecce old town is pedestrianised. It was €22.50 for 3 days and you can come and go as you please, to enjoy the coast also. Around 30 to 40 mins drive in each direction. Though you will definitely want to explore Lecce, which is a charming place with lots of hidden streets and great architecture. Breakfast was lovely and served on the roof terrace. Plenty of choice and always served with a smile. I didn't request this, but Aldo knew it was my partner's birthday on leaving day and brought some bubbly with the breakfast. Touches like that make this 5 star treatment, and great value too! Just book. You won't be disappointed.

We've had the perfect stay in the old city of Lecce with the best host! The room, we had the deluxe double room with spa bath, was beautiful, had a very comfortable bed and amazing bathroom. Every morning we were spoiled by Aldo, the host, with a marvellous fresh and healthy breakfast on the roof top of the building. The apartment is located right in the old city of Lecce. Paid parking with security was organised by Aldo and was a 5 minute walk away.

Beautiful suite hosted by Aldo. He was amazing. Situated in the old town. Aldo suggested a private car park nearby, which was excellent. Plentiful breakfast on the terrace. Aldo went out of his way to help us and give advice on places to go. All in all we had a perfect stay ❤️

IsraelThere is no elevator, but Aldo helped us with the luggage. The room was small but filled the need for the night, the experience definitely makes up.
The place is historical and well designed. Location is super! Very quite area. breakfast was delicious. We filled a form with everything we would like to have and it was more then enough. Danielle and Aldo were really nice and recommended on must locations in the city, and even helped us find a place that you can see how mozzarella is made. Very clean! Would definitely come back!

United KingdomAs we had quite a lot of luggage, it would have been useful to have some extra shelving or storage space for clothes.
Daniella was a perfect hostess, always happy to help, providing advice on what to see in Lecce and recommending the best restaurants. Our room was very tastefully designed with modern lighting and a large en-suite shower area separated from the main room by a glazed screen with a retractable blind. The bed was very comfortable too. The fabulous breakfast included cereals, yoghurt, ham, cheese, eggs, frise (similar to bruschetta), croissants, cakes, fresh fruit...the list goes on! Unfortunately, due to a wasp invasion we were unable to eat breakfast on the beautiful roof terrace, so we enjoyed eating in the the dining room/kitchen area instead whilst Daniella and her assistant Anna did their best to help me improve my italian! The accommodation was situated in an ideal location for exploring the centro storico of Lecce, just a few minutes walk from Porta Napoli, numerous restaurants, bars and shops.

- The staff was very kind, especially Daniela, who gave us very warm welcome and nice recommendations, so we could really enjoy Lecce. She made our stay perfect - The place is in the historical center, 5 walking minutes away from the Duomo - Breakfast was perfect, with good choices of traditional Salento food - There is a roof top taresse where you can relax with a good Salento wine in the evening
