Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We were eager using the stairway, and leave the elevator for the disabled (in some way or other....). But the stairway was inapproproate cleaned, we saw the same dust in the corners during the length over our stay.
Ideal location, very friendly staff. We were seen as individuals, and got excellent and personalized service. In the middle of the town, close to the very busy pedestrian area, nevertheless a very calm environment. We waked up with bird song!

The layout of the room and position of furniture is unusual..No chairs, but we could borrow two from the corridor.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice bed and bedding. Reading light in bed. Lovely breakfast. Near tram and in the historical center.

We didn't like the room, small and cramp. The toilet was also as small as it gets. There was no way to take a shower and use the toilet at the same time.
We liked the location and the staff was nice but the room was the smallest we have ever stayed in. Breakfast was ok.

Very friendly and attentive staff. If there are questions about the comfort of the stay, they quickly solve them. The hotel is very conveniently located, 2 minutes' walk from Prato della Valle. There is a tram stop nearby.

The room was a bit small, but still it was a good value for the price. The shower had separate taps for hot and cold water, and was hard to find the right mix.
Very close to the city centre. The possibility to park the car in the premises of the hotel. The organization of the reception and the hotel.

2 things: 1) the breakfast works only if you have a ticket. Which is annoying. My husband had forgotten the ticket in the room and was declined breakfast:( 2) when you enter the rooms there's a weird, stuffy smell. Maybe the curtains need to be renewed?
We traveled as a family of 4, and the place was perfectly convenient. Everything is super easy to access but the hotel is still quiet.

breakfest room to small (some personne had to eat the breakfast in the corridor even take the coffee outside table to close together could go to coffee machine without disturbing the personne having breafast ... don t expect to have a quite breakfast .... At 21h15 bar closed on freiday ( no possibility to have a beer ) he send me to the automat only have water ? always queue to check in du to only one computer or responsable to do the check in

We could bring our pets (1 dog and 1 cat). Parking and charging e-car available, the location is just in the historical center, a view steps from th breathtaking oval square. We will use this hotel in the future as our stopover when we drive from Vienna to Liguria.

The location was good, close to the tram line that goes through the city centre to the train station, and with walking distance of the city centre. The hotel is on a small sidestreet, so was very quiet, with no street noise at all. The towels were nice and soft.

The room was small for two. We were late booking our accommodation so could only select this room, I’d advice to book in advance so you can select a larger room. However, tye room was spotless clean and was cleaned to a very high stabdard each day
Location is as brilliant in the heart of the city but in a quieter area than the centre. Beautiful streets and cafes and restaurants and park area just around the corner. It felt very safe and like you were a local
