Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

They have beautiful restaurant and they really give you 5star dining experience. Everything is good they have good large parking.

Second parking space on the other side of hotel and no direct/quick connection, you need to walk around on the road. Room not as described, much smaller, instead of single bed, was old pull-out sofa, no sitting area/corner like on photos. Old equipment/furniture (except the bathroom), old, soft, tired mattresses.
Friendly staff, nice breakfast, nice spa, nice view from balcony.

The spa in hotel could be open more time, because if you finish with the skiing on 4 p.m. and then put away your skis and get ready for spa it is 5 p.m. Breakfast could be more different from day to day, especially if guests stay more days.
Hotel is on very quite location and with car is 5 minutes form gondola Kronplatz 2000 (Brunico). The stuff are very friendly and they always want to help. Small and very nice spa.

Wellness is super busy. They open and 4pm but at 4pm all saunas were cold.
Nothing to complain about. Really good value for money. Staff is very friendly.

The room was on the second floor, I did not like that someone was smoking downstairs and the smell reached the room.
Good hotel for its price. We were given a bike for free for the day. Good breakfast, scrambled eggs. Spacious pool. The room is clean. Quiet location.

It was only 8min drive to KronPLatz bikepark so that was great. Also there is a cool castle nearby. It also has a nice sized outside pool.

May be a chest of drawers in the room would be useful. I'd also like a proper queen bad, instead of a double bad. Mattresses are very comfortable anyway.
Martinerhof staff is exceptionally gentle and will help you satisfy all your requests. The location is fantastic and the area is lovely both for adventurers and for families. Don't lose the Haidenberg's plateau barbecue on Wednesday's lunch time!

After four days the selection of food was beginning to be boring to us. It stayed the same over all days we were staying there. There are no vegetables like for example cucumbers, tomatoes or e.t.c. at the time of our stay. The hotelier was not able to speak german (something one would typically expect in Südtirol) and his English level is not really at the point of clear communication. On arrival day we arrived two hours earlier than expected. We were greeted with the words "full". It took us some time to communicate that we were just early but had a reservation. The wellness area and pool could be cleaner. Spider webs in the sauna, dirt/insects in the pool. In our room noises from the kitchen were not ignorable (our room was not in a particularly unique location, probably half of the rooms are exposed to it to). Starting before breakfast (~7am) and after the dinner (~11pm) you heard the staff in the kitchen, music they are listening too and the loud ventilation.
The breakfast was fine for a short stay. I liked the chocolate croissants. The selection of fruits was okay (bananas, oranges, apples, kiwis). The location of Martinerhof is nice. In approximately 5 minutes by car you are on via Pusteria from which you can reach almost all valleys in Südtirol.

unfriendly and not welcoming staff. cheap breakfast and turns out that hot drinks are not included and need to be paid extra as well as breakfast menu is adapted to each room rate, more expensive room means better breakfast and there was no info on it whilst booking. very bad sound isolation, you could hear people talking in the next room. overall would not recommend, bad expierence, not worth the time and money
