If I could give it an 10+ rating I would! Very friendly and helpful owners. Accommodation in authentic trulli houses, Beautiful gardens and farm for walks. The most amazing continental breakfast - home baked pastries, tarts and the best CHEESE! Next time I will stay for a week!

Being very critical, we would have liked more hot breakfast options like scrambled eggs or an omelette. Maybe having some other food options available throughout the day, we found if we didn’t eat out fairly late we would be going hungry by evening.

We loved the location ,it was very to convenient to travel to different towns,beach etc. The cakes and bakes in the morning were outstanding. Most of all we loved the property itself, it was amazing and so well maintained. Our toddler loved the animals and the freedom to play in the playground.

Everything was perfect!

We have just returned from our honeymoon and had the most wonderful stay with the Aprile's. Our Trullo was gorgeous and cleaned daily by the very friendly cleaners. Fabio, Stefani, Anna and family were so welcoming and spent time with us each morning advising us on where was best to visit. The breakfasts were super tasty and had lots of local produce on offer. The cakes made by Stefani's mother, Anna were delicious. The farm was stunning with plenty of parking and grounds to explore we loved being surrounded by the gorgeous countryside, chickens and donkeys. We hired a car to get around Puglia, however Locorotondo was in walking distance from the farm. A beautiful town and region to explore. It was a very special stay, one we will never forget. We highly recommend!

Wow, where to start on reviewing a perfect stay? It almost seems like a dream when we stayed 2 weeks ago at the amazing Masseria Aprile in Locorotondo. My husband and I always try to stay at places where we can interact with the hosts and fellow travelers. Our hosts/ hostesses Anna, Stefania and Fabio were wonderful and such special people. We loved every minute of our stay at their gorgeous home. They made us feel like royalty, and every morning was such a delight to eat their delicious creations and learn about the family. We felt so blessed to come to know them and experience an amazing area of Italy. Their commitment to their land, their property…our room was tremendous! We stayed in a converted stables, we were in the Stalla suite which was huge, clean and very comfortable. On our days there, we so enjoyed walking their beautiful property, interacting with their donkeys, and the location was the BEST! Minutes away to the gorgeous white city of Locorotondo, where there are many restaurants and we attended church too! I ran each morning on the country roads and just soaked in the gorgeous countryside. We can’t thank them enough for sharing their home with us..Gratzi!!!

Masseria Aprile is an idyllic property with wonderful amenities. Our suite was delightfully decorated, spacious and comfortable. We loved the outdoor living space, the breakfast room and Honesty Bar, the vineyard view and resident pets. The location was ideal, a pleasant walk to lovely Locorotondo and a great base for exploring in the area. However, it was the hosts who made our stay so memorable. This family has perfected the art of hospitality. Of special note, Anna's amazing breakfast. Our stay was above and beyond. Thank you Stefania and family.

The only thing we can say is that a couple times the water pressure in our bathroom was low. But it returned in just a few minutes. I suspect there were many others using the water at the same time. However, this was a very minor concern for us.

This is a wonderful place. It is stunning. Rooms are very clean. And the room we had was a trullo used for animal fodder. It was lovely. Beds and linens comfortable. Surroundings are gorgeous with a view of Locorotondo. You can walk around the grounds with olive trees and other wooded areas. There are a few chickens, two lovely donkeys, and a couple of very friendly cats. Our room had a delightful patio with table and chairs with view of the Olive trees. The Honesty bar is a room with chairs and tables, fireplace and selection of wine, water and snacks for purchase. The breakfast is unbelievably delicious with baked goods, yogurt, an interesting machine for boiled eggs, and one day a cappuccino where the foam looked like a Trullo.We would love it if Senora Anna made a cookbook. And the really wonderful aspect is the friendliness and hospitality of the family. We were sad to leave.

There is nothing else like this beautiful place. What a labor of love it is and the whole family is delightful, welcoming and so helpful. They are rightfully proud of their history and the work they have done and continue to do shows. The town of Locorotondo is a gem. So cute and lovely. I really can’t recommend it highly enough. What a great retreat!

We loved our stay in this beautifully maintained family run historic trulli farmhouse .Nothing was too much trouble to make our stay comfortable and help us enjoy nearby Locorotondo . Breakfast was delicious and the home made cakes , jams and cheese were particularly special . Olive and wine tasting ( both grown onsite) can be arranged.

Lack of free beer.

This was our favorite stay in Puglia. When the gate opened, we knew we were in for a relaxing stay. After staying in city centers, what a nice treat to have space and genuine warmth from the hosts. Lovely trulli we stayed in, amazing fresh breakfast with local eggs, Mama's pies, burrata, great coffee. Donkeys as pets. Blood pressure lowered as soon as we arrived. Would come back here if we ever visit Locorotondo again.

That we didn't plan more time here!!!

Masseria Aprile is truly a little slice of heaven! The family members that own and run this masseria are incredibly welcoming and friendly. The property is beautiful, peaceful and only a short 1 km walk down the country road and up into the town of Locorotondo. The property also has a beautiful garden and woodland walk. Our room had a lovely rustic feel and was furnished with antique objects that have been a part of the history of the farm for generations. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful and big. Quiet A/C. Wifi worked well in the room. An incredible breakfast is served in a lovely room with big, open windows overlooking the farm and vineyards. The selection of food included products direct from the farm and delicious baked goods by Anna. Highly recommend this place if you are visiting the region. Thankyou Stefani, Anna, Antonio for a too short but wonderful stay.
