Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Everything you read about this Masseria tells you what an excellent place it is. It didn’t fault and was fantastic: the staff, the location, the standard of the rooms, the pool and the food (which was the best we had on our tour of Puglia). A wonderful place.

CanadaRoom was just a tad dated and a little tight as family of four in the loft room.
Individual attention, historic and interesting facility, full of charm and uniqueness. Breakfast was sensational, included in price and individual eggs order in addition to generous spread of bread, sweets and fruit.

United KingdomFor the price, it would be nice to have bathrobes and slippers in the bedrooms.
We came to this hotel 13 years ago and our only regret is not to have come back earlier! Francesco and Antonella are delightful hosts. Antonella's delicious dishes are extremely refined (Michelin star quality), all with fresh, local ingredients. The breakfast selection is amazing, again everything home-made. The hotel is decorated very tastefully throughout and beautifully located amongst the olive groves, near the sea and Gargano's beautiful beaches, including Calanella. And their olive oil is one of the best in Puglia.

United States of AmericaBeautiful property with awesome views of Peschici town both during the day and at night. A true family business led wonderfully by Francesco and Antonella. Have dinner there every night if you can, the food is beautifully prepared and a true experience, with lovely hospitality. We were very sad to leave!

United States of AmericaFood was great, setting perfect, and gracious hosts. Five course dinners were excellent- on a par with any top end restaurant. Only wrinkle (and its a tiny one) is that it's hard to find the first time. A "last mile" map on website would help. But when we couldn't find it we called and Francesco, the owner, came to guide us.

Good breakfast with eggs and coffee made to order, fresh fruit, and large selection of home-made pies. Tasty seafood dinners. Staff ready to accommodate personal preferences outside the set menu. Very relaxed atmosphere and quiet location.

United States of AmericaWe came here as part of our honeymoon trip in Puglia. Francesco and his wife and all of the staff were wonderful and very helpful. When we arrived they gave us some wine, beer, and olives from the olive grove in front of the property, and Francesco let us try his special olive oil! We had a fantastic and very relaxing stay here. The location was superb - we didn't have a rental car so were just walking into Peschici and the beach, and Francesco gave us the location of a little beach off the beaten path that we walked to and we had a really wonderful day there. We had arranged a boat trip to the Tremiti Islands on a very small private boat, not a ferry, and so it left from Rodi Garganico rather than Peschici. Francesco helped us to arrange a taxi on the way there in the morning and he drove us back himself at night! That went above and beyond, likewise when his very friendly wife drove us into Peschici when we needed to get cash from the ATM as she was on her way there herself already. We walked into Peschici three times just to take in the views above the beach and once for dinner. I should note that the dinners at the Masseria made by Francesco and his family were excellent, and I was delighted to find that they could accommodate the fact that I was allergic to shellfish and freshwater fish (a true devastation on a trip to Puglia, believe me), so I was still able to eat with my husband at the restaurant in the evenings. The pool was very relaxing as well with comfortable lounge furniture. Francesco also supplied us with beach towels. We loved it and we would definitely come again.

AustriaAntonella and Francesca are lovely and attentive hosts giving reccommendations for trips around Gargano and by boat. The Masseria is located amidst a beautiful olive tree garden in the more quiet part of Peschici. In the evenings, delicious dinners, mostly with fish and seafood, can be enjoyed upon registration. Do not miss this opportunity!

GermanyThe owners of the property excel in their hospitality. Having breakfast and dinner on the balcony in the open is a very special experience, and the food is all self-made, from very special, unique cakes in the morning to an amazing number of dinner courses in the evening. Everything is just a treat, accompanied by exceptionally friendly staff. The pool area is very clean and quiet, overlooking a beautiful area of olive trees and the silhouette of Peschici on the hill nearby. Speaking of olive trees: Francesco makes his own olive oil, and if you are lucky like we were, you experience the magic atmosphere of a Chicnic beneath the stars and in between olive trees, with the air filled with music.
