Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

DenmarkOnly minor complaint: we would expect pool-towels to be included with this sort of hotel. Fair enough with payment if you wish to change - due to respect for environment, so you don’t change it all the time just because you can. But payment to have a towel in the first place was a bit disappointing
Such a cosy hotel with an authentic feeling to it. Clean, spacious rooms with rustique interieur, a really nice pool (not too crowded even in the middle of july) You don’t get luxury in the shape of modern, chic fancyness but you do get luxury in the way of comfort, genuinity, hospitality and relaxation. Breakfast is nice with a broad variety of choices - but also authentic, meaning no omelet-station, smoothie-station etc which we’ve tried elsewhere, But sometimes ‘less is more’, and honestly we couldn’t ask for more. A boattrip along the paradisiac coastline is a must when in Cala Gonone. We almost chose a cheaper tour offered in town/the harbour than the one the hotel offers, because they’re obviously cheaper. But luckily we changed our mind and booked the boat/captain with the hotel. DO IT!! That captain knows excactly how and when to reach the different beaches and sites worth seeing before the ‘crowds’ and bigger boats - so you feel you sort of have it to yourself, and magically make your exit when all the other boats arrive. Plus: he’s kind, funny, makes you feel safe and knows all about the coastline. So definitely worth the extra cost compared to town-boats :)

We loved our stay at Resort Nuraghe Arvu!! Perfect spot for a holiday with family. The pool was great, with the beautiful surroundings. Very close to the beach and lively streets with shops and restaurants. The hotel staff was so nice and very helpful:)

United KingdomFor some reason, the room was very dry and I had a sore throat while sleeping.
We stayed here for two nights as a halfway point from Olbia to Villasimius. The hotel rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and the restaurant was excellent, having been listed in Michelin in the past. We took a boat and the transfer service to and from the sea port was very good.

New ZealandEugenio on the front desk is hands down the best concierge I have ever dealt with. Personable, well-informed, highly professional but engaging - he is an absolute asset. Stamps? No problem! Eat like a local - great recommendations Day trip - excellent advice. Whilst this is something of a family resort we found it excellent in its class and we didn't have to fight for space around the lovely pool. We enjoyed our day out on the boat. I would return to this hotel.

United KingdomIt is a fair walk to restaurants and the sea front / beach (mostly up hill on the way back). The on site restaurant was a bit too expensive for dinner.
A very well presented hotel with a nice pool and mountain backdrop. Great breakfast.

IrelandLunch unfortunately was only served Sunday. Caprese salad or similar option would have been great. Option for pizzaella (frozen snack). We got the majority of our bites at this location probably the price to pay for the beautiful planting surrounding. For those with mobility issues the resort is located on the outskirts overlooking the town about 15-20 min walk back uphill. The resort does have a shuttle which finishes at 21:30 and no taxis in the town. Otherwise, great return stay.
Very relaxing beside the pool with beautiful surroundings. Great helpful and friendly staff in the hotel and restaurant. Spacious well appointed room. The hotel restaurant was great, food quality and originality, price and service was better value than options in the town. Would recommend.

United KingdomBreakfast the same everyday. Bit of variety would be good. Restaurant is fine dining all the time so not suitable for an average lunch (have to go off site). Bar service around the pool was more less non existent.

United KingdomThe real let down is that there are two Butlins-esq holiday camps right next to the hotel. So every evening there is the sound of cheesy holiday entertainment completely ruining the ambience.
