Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

One you know the location, is really easy to find and explore as it is next to the water and saint marco square. The view is beautifulll and the room as spacios and comfortable.

We loved one of our rooms but the other was a little less luxurious so we felt one half of our family got a better deal than the other

Smaller than expected however it is not a big problem if you are travelling as couple or on your own. Probably have bigger rooms for family . We stayed two sisters .
The view is wonderful if you book one of rooms facing to Canal. The location is very convenient.

compacted bathroom. My room is not reachable by elevator. I need to carry my luggage by stairs for a storey. It is acceptable but not expected when booking.

I would recommend to place at least 2 bottles of water in room at least on the day of the arrival of the guests.
Location is just excellent! Very helpful and nice staff (responsive and always ready to support)! Hotel is very clean and quite.

Booked a room for three adults. Room is very small Sofa bed is super uncomfortable.
Staff were always there when we asked for their assistance. The hotel is central.

The room is very small, it rained in Venice and staying in the room one afternoon was not comfortable at all.
The location is great, you can get to the hotel directly from the airport.

There was a heating problem (over heating) on a room but the personel did whatever they could to solve it. Even changing the room when it was possible since it was new years eve
The location is fantastic. Especially if you visit venice for the new years eve. The personel is very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

The room was too small as per the price. Sometimes it gets noisy at night and early morning because of the stress and restaurants.

The cakes served for breakfast are very dry, could not eat it again on the second day, i was scared i would choke on it. The pillows in the room, they felt like cardboard, the bed was nice and comfy but the pillows were a struggle.
Location was really good as it is just opposite to take the Vaporetto to anywhere and also Alilaguna to go to/from the airport. There are number of restaurants around if you dont want to venture far to eat. It is close to San Marco. I found it walking ditance to go shopping while visitng the different attractions. Breakfast was ok, it was not a grand but enough to charge up for the morning, I liked that they had a good selection of fruits and not just apples. I would also like to mention that the staff were great, always helpful, and cheerful.

Nothing at all. For a three star property it was excellent and very good value for money.
Superb location, couldn’t have been better. Minutes from St Marks Square with easy access right outside to water taxis, water bus and gondolas. Gorgeous views overlooking the lagoon and end of Grand Canal

the space below is not large enough The young stud BS artist was arrogant and needs to get a smack down. He thinks he knows, but does not at all times as he should, so he is unreliable. If he doesn't know, he make up some BS, figuring we will buy his BS

Paper cups in the room instead of China cups. Cheap coffee. Not being able to go up onto the rooftop terrace and see the panoramic views like mention in the write-up. The room didn't feel like a deluxe room at all.
The location was good. The room was clean. The view from our bedroom window was good. Nice staff. The continental breakfast had a good selection to choose from.
