Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe bed was not the most comfortable. The a la carte onsite restaurant was overpriced and offered a limited menu in our opinion. My biggest frustration is that the room category I booked said it came with a balcony (if available). I figured that meant that depending on what time of day you checked in you might get a balcony. When we checked in the front desk staff said that we hadn't requested a balcony room so the balcony rooms were already spoken for. I had booked my hotel room 10 months in advance and if this was their policy it would have been nice if the hotel had informed me that I could request a balcony - not the other way around. Our room did face the Sassolungo group and the big window did open all the way into the room so it felt like we could let the outdoors come into our room. The hotel becomes very busy with cars and motorcycles filling the parking lot onsite until about dinner time and then it becomes much quieter. One thing I didn't care for was they play music on outdoor loudspeakers from about 8:30am - 4:30 pm. I go to the mountains for peace and quiet - not American rock and roll from the 1980s!
If you want to be in the mountains and wake up and look at towering rock right outside your room - this is your hotel! The rooms are large and the bathroom and shower were very nice.

RussiaExcellent place right in heart of Dolomites. There is no village or night life around, so it is absolutely silent and quiet at night. At the same time it has very good restaurant for dinner of those who stay there. There are very nice walks right from the hotel, and many interesting hiking trails start within 15-20 minutes drive from the resort

United States of AmericaHotel guests were assigned one table for all meals and there was no option to sit at another table. Some tables had great views and others, like ours, were less than ideal.
Breakfast buffet was superb - offered a wide variety of choices. Dinner meals were outstanding. The nearby towns in the valley below were overwhelmed with tourists. It was so convenient to dine at the Passo Sella Dolomiti Mountain Resort versus having to wait in long lines for a meal in the local restaurants. Loved that the Passo Sella Dolomiti Mountain Resort was located just off a high mountain pass. While crowded with tourists during the day, they all departed by late afternoon and hotel guests had the area to themselves. Local buses have stops directly in front of the hotel - a nice transportation option if needed. Garage parking included with the room. Pool and sauna facilities were wonderful to use after a long day of hiking and sightseeing.

United KingdomSome bizarre very un-Italian rules. Example. You are allocated a table in the dining room and it causes real angst if you sit elsewhere, even though there were many spare tables. Manager explained this as an attempt to ensure correct billing, but did not have an answer when we suggested they just ask for the room number as they do in the vast majority of hotels. Got the impression he was a bit of a control junky who was letting down what was otherwise a very good hotel.
Beautiful location, efficiently run, good food, underground parking, very clean.

United States of AmericaWe did not like or understand the sudden change in the restaurant policy. One day we were seated with in one area, and the next day were were told that we need to sit in another ( staff forgot to mention that it’s a completely separate restaurant with different prices and we ended up paying double for water and drinks- food we ordered still came from the restaurant we sat at on a previous day so prices were as expected) overall very confusing and it ended up being the only negative of our stay.
The view was fantastic. The spa facilities with the pool, saunas, steam room and lounge beds were very nice and so needed after a day of hiking.

Canadavery rude restaurant staff that didn't think we were guests at hotel and didn't apologize. Told manager who was professional and apologetic. Lifts weren't open yet but we were not told when I reserved. Annual Bike Day occurred during our stay which closed the road to and from hotel for 8+ hours. Didn't affect us too much but should have been told at reservation time, imho
huge room with incredible views (second floor corner room), amazing breakfast, indoor parking, hiking trails outside front door. Did I mention the views?

CanadaAmazing to be able to stay in Passo Sella overnight once all the hordes of tourists have left for the day and just enjoy the peacefulness and the amazing views. Spa facilities with hot and cold water features were much appreciated after a long day of hiking. Restaurant was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. Room was very spacious with a minimalist design. Best of all the staff - I left my watch in the pocket of my robe and didn't realize until the next day after we'd left. Carlotta at the front desk helped arrange for it to be picked up by Fedex and shipped home to me in Canada so I was very happy.

The location is perfect. The staff was very nice, friendly, and professional. I was impressed by how both breakfast and dinner were included, as well as the excellent quality. I did a half-hour massage for myself and my husband, and we both enjoyed it.

United States of AmericaThere either wasn’t AC in the building or ours didn’t work, so it was warm in the room at night without windows open.
The property is in a great central location with access to a lot of trails right on the property! The rooms are great and the entire place was clean and felt new! The buffets for breakfast and dinner also exceeded expectations!

HungaryWe have booked our stay with dinner and breakfast, but the receptionist claimed that there is no booking for dinners, we had to dinner in the city every night which was very unconfortable and of course we paid much more than we planned. The women in the reception had no intention to solve the problem, we had to agree with booking who will pay back us our dinner's costs. We are very disappointed!
