Stunning room, the pool looked sensational, food was phenomenal at breakfast and dinner (amazing value). Every staff member went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Could not fault anything about this place.

This place made my husband and I to look on places for buy in San Gimignano :D Amazing location, amazing hosts, the sunset is breathtaking, the restaurant is great and the breakfast has all you’d wish for. I could not recommend a better place to stay in San Gimignano and I hope to go back again.

There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like. Our preference would have been to have eaten a little earlier in the evenings - as we found it uncomfortable sleeping when overly replete! However it was for to us to fit in with the culture of the area.

We couldn’t believe how amazingly lovely Podere Bellavista was as we approached it perched amongst olive groves and vineyards on the hillside! It afforded breathtaking views across the valley facing the stunningly beautiful hilltop town of San Gimignano just a very short drive away. The inviting pool also overlooked the valley and was a great place to relax even when we were there in October! The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The delicious ‘tasting’ menu of the local Tuscan food was beyond expectation as was the fabulous breakfast served on the terrace!

Would recommend the larger room if you plan to stay more than 1-2 nights as the double room was quite cozy.

Excellent, warm and welcoming staff; great location to walk to San Gimignano; amazing bistro for breakfast and dinner. We even enjoyed the pool for a few minutes despite the rainy weather!

We loved our stay so much, Andrea and Virginia were amazing hosts along with the other staff. You made us feel at home, it was so relaxing. The dinner menu is AMAZING, it was the best food we had in Tuscany. We don't usually visit the same place twice, but we will definitely be back. Pictures don't do it justice! Thank you!

Can't think of anything I did not like.

We had a fabulous stay. The location is perfect just 5 minutes from San Gimignano. The room was quaint, the views were spectacular, the food was outstanding and the staff was friendly and helpful and just very pleasant to be around and chat with. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in that area. Loved everything about it.

Our stay at Podere Bellavista will remain one of the most memorable of all of our many travels. Not only is it a gorgeous facility, the location and views are extraordinary. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to meet the owners, Andrea and Virginia, but the staff they have hired are like gems in a crown. We felt like we were leaving good friends behind in Maria and Alyssa. Vanessa, the evening chef, prepared outstanding meals — the best food we had throughout our Europe trip. The breakfast chef was also gifted. Once we arrived, we ate most meals there because the quality and selection was so good and the atmosphere is so relaxing. This is a very special place and remains the highlight of our trip! We will recommend it to anyone going to Tuscany! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Nothing, all perfect!

Everything went more than well it was excellent and everything we had hoped for and more. The location, the peace, the views, the food, the wine, the service, the staff the gardens, the pool, I could go on and on. Everything was perfect and our cottage with our views, terrace, BBQ area, and seating area was fantastic. The size of the cottage was amazing for the 2 of us, a great last three nights in Tuscany to round off our "Tuscan adventure"! We hope to be back very soon. Nothing. It was excellent

The grounds were so beautiful with a magical view of San Giminano. The private cabin-like suites were individually decorated and so cozy. The beds were really comfortable and with plenty of towels for the bath and oool. The pool was stunning with a commanding view of the area and sunset. We shared a simple meal of charcuterie and local wines while watching the day fade. A true rest in the midst of the bustle of travels. Another key highlight is the staff’s hospitality and the incredible food. Full breakfast menu with five star quality and we enjoyed two evening 4 course dinners that was the best food we’ve had on the trip! I have multiple food allergies and despite creating the set menu dishes in the small kitchen, they made special accommodations that were the same quality (or better!) than the main dish. As I live with allergies I know how challenging it is to create separate dishes while cooking for a group. They never made a fuss but treated both my allergies and me with utmost respect. A type of care I rarely receive. Kindness, respect, beauty - these are the key words that will stay with me every time I remember these special few days.

We arrived at an amazing, quiet place with a stunning view. Virginia welcomed us with glasses of wine in the view of San Gimignano and the olive groves. The room was stunning (better than the pictures), cozy, and clean. Hotel area is amazing, you can hang out in the hammock among the trees and enjoy the peace. The pool was too cold for me, but its area is lovely, clean, and stunning. We had a great breakfast. This is definitely a place we'll go back to, and we'll recommend it to everyone.

There are so many things we loved: the personalised service from the staff, the beautiful and peaceful location, the fantastic breakfast breakfast on the terrace, and the mysterious family cat who kept us company. It is just a short drive from San Gimignano in the countryside. Be sure to go to the Volute winery right beside the Bellavista!

Perfect 2 night stay. Everything from check in to check out went incredibly smoothly, and Andrea and his staff were so friendly and helpful. The grounds are stunning and it was so lovely to have breakfast every morning overlooking the beautiful hills and vineyards of Tuscany. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to the San Gimignano area!

The property was beautiful and had everything we needed. It was in the perfect location and an easy walk to San Gimignano! Andrea and Virginia were lovely hosts and the food on site was delicious. They even offered us breakfast for the road as we had an early morning to leave. Definitely coming back.
