Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Very well-situated in bustling central area of town. We were in the "Re di Sole" suites which are round the corner, not far from the main hotel. Decor and fittings were very traditional, but the refrigerator was a welcome bonus as it was not in the room description. WiFi was excellent via an in-room modem. Breakfast was OK.

The next 2 nights were in the older part of the hotel: lots of noise from the street outside until late (can’t blame the hotel). But the shower head was terrible.
The first night was a room in the Residence: very nice & great location

The car park was a little difficult to find but not really an issue

The terrace was also used to collect the dirty laundry. A small table would be nice to put your glas and bottle on. The chairs on the terrace were in a displorable state.

The bathroom was pretty and with a bathtub. The only issue was that the shower head could not be placed straight. But other than that, it was perfect.
The location is great, with super spacious room and comfortable bed. The restaurant Regina next to it is also very good! I quite enjoyed my dinner there. I believe they have two buildings, and I stayed in the old one. My room also had a cute balcony to the street.

Nothing!
The ownermanager was fantastic. He went out of his way to help us. We could not find the hotel (not helped by road closures) but he came out on his motorbike to find us and lead us to the hotel. He also helped us squeeze our car into the tght car park (and out again in the morning). Very nice hotel near the sea front. Excellent breakfast.

The showers are quite old fashioned.
The hotel is very pretty and authentic, housed in a historical building typical of Piedmontese towns. The very central location and vicinity to bars, cafes and supermarkets add to the hotel's charm. The room was bigger than I thought, and I particularly liked the quaint separate washing basin with big framed mirror... it looked like a theatre dressing room. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant and, dining on my own, I was taken care of and pampered with the utmost care and discretion.

The people were extremely nice. Nice touches such as water & tea in the room. We also had bicycles that needed a place to stay for an extra day and they were very accommodating.

The rooms are modern, clean and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is amazing and has a large variety of food and drinks. The check-in was easy and uncomplicated. In general the staff was really friendly and helpfully. I felt really comfortable and relaxed during the stay in the Hotel Regina. My colleagues with who I was travelling, told me the same.

Quite basic facilities for the price. The room got incredibly warm during the night and the temperature could not be regulated.

Overall good maybe I suggest to add fruit at breakfast. No parties in the terrace after 10pm. (When we stayed there was a party in the terrace until midnight).
The staff was helpful and tried to accompany our requests for the baby (cot, baby bath, etc.). We were in the residence were the rooms are renovated. There is a passage in the meeting room to avoid the stairs with the stroller. Good variety of food in the breakfast.
