Since it was in an old building, there were piles of items at the main entrance and it smelled a bit damp. We were on the first floor, but there was no elevator for the other floors.

The employees are great, transportation is very easy, you can walk everywhere. The room was clean and the free coffee was a nice service.

Very hard to find when you first arrive to Florence. Took a while to figure out where the key was located. Staircase was dark and could not find light switches. No one available at check in after 1:30 pm was inconvenient. Many of these issues I identified could have been avoided if someone was present to introduce us to the property. Location seemed a little unsafe. Even with the windows closed, lots of ambient noise could be heard. Lots of steps and no elevator.

It was clean. The owner was very nice. He gave us great directions and recommendations once we met him. Great AC!

I was on the third floor. It was a long hike up a few times a day 27 steps between floors. If steps is not a problem, I would recommend it.

The guys who ran it was fabulous. Rooms were made up and cleaned promptly bed was comfortable. I liked having Netflix on the TV.

- The suggested parking lot (Parterre) is pretty far away. (10-15min). - The rooms on the last floor can be difficult to access with a heavy suitcase. (Staircase) - No view.

The very soft mattress topper and the big pillow were not to my liking. Also the water in the shower doesn't drain immediately but I didn't complain since it didn't top the sole of my flipflops.

I liked the location, the smooth check in, the cleanliness of the sheets and towels and the well aged building adds to the charm. It is not the Savoy, you get exactly what you pay for. The room was quiet.

Only the air conditioner needs some maintenance because it was serving two rooms and there is no elevator.

The location is perfect, the rooms are beautiful, clean and smells good and the staff were super helpful. At arrival our room had a plumbing problem and they changed the room instantly.

The staff wasn't always there but there was a number you could call if you needed something. It wasn't a big deal.

The room was spacious. There was real air conditioning, not just a fan. The area was quiet but close to walk to things. The staff was pleasant. The room was clean.

You can hear other guests through the walls. So if you’re a light sleeper you would find this hard, but we were able to block it out easy enough.

The location was great for us to explore Florence and close enough to the train station to easily walk there. we liked the clean and comfortable room to relax after exploring. We also loved the view from the window across the Florence rooftops.

The entrance hall and level one passageway felt like a building site - building materials and fixings seemingly having been left there for a while. The carpets to the passageway and rooms were clean but really 'tired'. Full payment upon booking, with no cancellation option seemed a bit confronting - we were in need for an easily accessible location so secured it despite the above.

Good location, 10min walk from station. Pietro our host was really helpful to offer a Level 1 room as there is no lift and we were hauling some heavy luggage. The bed linen was clean and the room serviced and cleaned on a daily basis. The commonly accessible coffee machine really appreciated.
