Location was excellent and although very close to the train station the area was safe and quiet. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable and the small kitchenette was handy to do food if we wanted. The shower was large and powerful. Francesca was an excellent host, giving recommendations for eating out, supplying a map, ferry timetable and bus timetable. Breakfast was lovely with cereals, bread/toast, jams etc, cold meats, cheese, tomatoes and a choice of pastries. There were also juices and coffee (or cappuccino)/tea. The WiFi is great but not very strong, it appeared to only like 2 devices logged in at a time and considering that is all most people want this will not be a problem. Certainly should not be a deal breaker for staying here but just something to understand.

When arriving there’s no where to check in which was a bit confusing but after calling up Francesca came out straight away and checked us in.

Very clean & tidy, facilities were great! 10-15 walk into the old town, right next to the train station. Francesca was a great host, any questions we had she happily answered, let us leave our luggage before we could check in and after we checked out so we didn’t have to carry them around in the heat. Breakfast was lovely, great selection. Had a water dispenser so we could fill our bottles with cold water before we left so there’s no need to constantly keep buying bottles of water. Highly recommend!

One thing to improve is the air conditioning - it was 33 -34 degrees each day and the air conditioning unit in our room could not sufficiently cool the space for comfortable sleep.

Great location - just a short walk to town. Ample parking. Our hosts, Francesca and her mother, were so welcoming and also extremely helpful with advice and suggestions. The breakfast each day was served on a beautiful terrace and was extremely well presented, very tasty and generous in its servings and options provided. Loved this place!

The accommodation is really in a good location. It was close to main train station and bus stop as well. Owner of this place was really helpful, she pointed us good restaurants and was very kind to all of our questions. Breakfast was tasty and full of homemade food.

The walls were like paper, the normal sound of talking from neighboring rooms could be clearly heard through. It's a shame, because otherwise the place would have been perfect

It costed more than anticipated (15€) as a new EU law makes it not possible for the place to withdraw money from my credit card without my concent. That means that I had to do an international bank transfer as they hadn't set the system up to pay the deposit through booking.com yet. This was a hazzle and quite expensive and when we arrived they wanted us to pay even more because their bank had also charged them 5€ for the transfer which they had not told me about before the transfer. I had expected them to offer to pay for the entire transfer, but instead they wanted me to pay for not only my banks surcharges, but also for their own banks surcharges. I think that was quite uncomfortable and unfair to be put in that situation to be honest, because it is their mistake that they have not set up the system to support the EU law, and therefore they should not make the costumer pay extra for that. After a longer discussion they finally wavered the 5€ charge from their own bank, but I still had payed an extra 10€ for the transfer which they did not cover. If they fix this problem with their system, then I would stay there again, but the international transfere was a hazzle and an uncomfortable situation that I would not do again.

The room was nice and clean and the staff was super serviceminded except from regarding payment of the stay. Great breakfast.

Francesca helped make our stay really enjoyable. She was so helpful and gave us great suggestions on places to visit and to eat. She really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could possibly need. I would highly recommend staying here as the level of service is fantastic.

Location perfect, quiet and close to station, 10 minute walk to town centre. Lovely friendly family run b&b. Had very warm welcome, with lots of useful local information. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Breakfast included lots of homemade goodies! Would definitely visit again.

Francesca is an angel - such a warm, gentle, lovely person. Her warm yet professional approach made my stay perfect. If everyone was as good as their job as she is, it would be indeed a perfect world. The place is very conveniently located if arriving by train and it is lovely and so well equipped.

Everything was great.

Everything was great. The only downside was that you could hear the showers through the bedroom walls.

The property was in a nice quiet area just a stones throw from the train station. The owners were very friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was nice and clean.

Very friendly and supportive host. Great location with a free, private parking (important if you travel by car); train station is located 5min away (you can reach Milano or Verona for example); supermarkets with good food selection are nearby; bus stops are 5min away from hotel; many restaurants in historical center are 10min by foot. Good and stable Wi-Fi connection. Very clean.
