You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. France-The apartment we had needed some real updating and renovation: air conditioning condensation didn't evacuate to plumbing pipes, and we had to keep emptying a bucket on the back patio. -There was only 1 roll of toilet paper given for 2 bathrooms -Bathroom in master bedroom had a faulty thermostat on the shower, so water was never cool enough for a shower; impossible to regulate properly so only 1 shower was functioning -AC system was not able to cool entire apartment and mezzanine and bedroom were warm and made sleep difficult at best even after 6 hours of continuous cooling -The kitchen had no sponge, soap for washing up; bare minimum cooking utensils -stovelight and exhaust system out of order (apparently since a long time) - Electrical system couldn't handle the washing machine at the same time as the AC and hot water heater and Pamela kindly explained where to find the general breaker box; about 100 mts from apartment
The landscaping, calm and quiet condominium complex, the general atmosphere and the staff Pamela; very responsive and helpful.

United States of AmericaIt’s a long list: no Wi-Fi in the unit, the upstairs railing was unsafe, a sleeper could fall right out of bed and down a story, the couch was very stained and the cover blanket was also stained. The bedding was well over 20 years old. The bathroom fan was broken. No silverware, dirty ceiling and floors upstairs (old gunk between the floor boards). The electrical outlets were broken and unsafe. Lights were out. Lightbulbs were of different color shape in size in the bathroom fixture. Floor boards were stained. Old furniture and discarded unused stuff just laying around like a vhs player.
The location was amazing, price was also good.

Francethis apartment n 15 no wifi , everywhere clothes of Neighbour’s hanging , it- is old and overrated - couldn’t sleep as echo of Neighbour’s talking worse that hearing someone in the room. bed not comfortable . a piece of wood over the pillow side close to the face , . the electricity is old and and lights don’t work. nothing in bathroom for use . I would not consider this place as a cosy place or nice for a vacation. no privacy. swimming pool have to have diving hat in summer.
