Not far from the center, but not really close either. If you want to take buses, not easy as many don't go to the center directly. Isolation is not perfect: during the night people are heard in the corridor because of this.

The hotel is fine, in a near central neighborhood. The staff was welcoming and eager to help. The room was fine, as was the bathroom, very classical. The hotel offers a kind of breakfast for free, tea, coffee, italian croissants. Nice.

Unfortunately, the Wifi was dreadful, I barely had any connection in my room and for a 4-night stay, I often opted to use the wifi in the centre square of Bologna which was faster and free. It caused me to have to lower this hotel by 1-2 points which is a shame because otherwise it was a nice and enjoyable stay. The hotel decor was a little bit tired, with what seemed to be a missing shower door, some wallpaper falling off and my bedside light, which reminded me of a computer game that when you turn it, opens a secret passage (it was loose on the wall with wires exposed). I didn't mind this side of things that much however as the value was what I expected. I just think the hotel if they kept on top of the maintenance and fixed the wifi would be really popular.

The location was fantastic, and although a short walk into town it was perfect for my use as I was doing a mixture of visiting football and the centre of town. The staff were lovely, on my last day having to leave early in the morning for my flight, the desk staff made sure I didn't leave the hotel without taking some food or a drink with me. The surprise of getting a free basic breakfast that I didn't see advertised was a bonus. The room was tidy clean and I slept well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who stays in Bologna and I would probably stay there again.

Room key was physical and provided on a huge key chain, which was annoying when going about town Especially ironic since I was given a separate key card to activate the electricity so why not use that for the door as well?

It's not a quiet hotel. You hear any furniture movement from the room above, any conversation from the adjacent rooms, in the corridor or around the hotel.

The welcoming staff gave good suggestions on what to do in Bologna. Breakfast wasn't included but we got complimentary coffee and croissants. The hotel may not be located in the heart of the old town, but it's an easy and pleasant walk and there's always the bus.

Breakfast was excellent The reception staff were extremely helpful in advising places to eat, local bars and sights to see - depending on the day of the week. Overall a very good long weekend.

Perhaps some furniture updates are needed and better hangers in the bathroom.

The location is close to the city centre and all the famous places. The stuff is open, helpful, polite, the rooms are cleaned every day. There’s a possibility to leave your luggage if needed before or after check in. Coffee and cornettò for breakfast are the great start of the day.

If I was to go into detail, maybe the furniture in the room could be a little better for three stars. In my room it was really old but on the other hand the room was really clean.

A very decent hotel for the money you pay, you really get a service corresponding to the price. It is close to the city center, 15 minutes on foot to the main square and 20 minutes on foot from Bologna Centrale to the hotel. The room was very clean. It's was a nice gesture, that they give guests a croissant and a cup of coffee in the morning for free.
