You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Having more than one pillow per person would have been preferable, along with a duvet instead of blankets. The plastic-backed bed topper became uncomfortably damp with sweat. Although it appeared that air conditioning was available, there was no option to utilize it. There was a kettle, but only cardboard cups - no other facilities. We would have preferred to have been given the choice to be on a lower floor as we found the stairs difficult and tiring, so rationed our use of the room.
The location was great - in a lively area with a good atmosphere, but not too noisy, and the double glazing was superb. Lots of bistros etc. and close to the Grand Canal and within walking distance of the bus station. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Very clean.

Room is small as a many others in Venice
Location is perfect, stuff is friendly, facilities are new + small fridge, bidet, easy to leave your luggage before/after the stay. It was a pleasure!

The beds weren't comfy at all - had trouble sleeping so if you're picky to comfort, book elsewhere.
Location is primely situated - since it's close to the train station you can walk there without a problem.

Small room with basic amenities, no breakfast option.
Incredible to stay on the island, really accessible on the main thoroughfare and close to trains and ferries. Staff helpful and room was tidy with views onto the square.

Double beds are actually two single beds put together that tend to move a lot. As others have said: there is no soundproofing whatsoever. We were woken up from 6am by other guests yelling on the staircase, and then the cleaning crew kept banging our door with their supply cart.
The hotel is in an excellent location, making it easy to walk to all the main attractions. The room we were in was comfortable enough for a short stay, clean, with heating and hot water running at all times.

The hotel is one stone thrown away from the VSL train station, which is way convenient for one-day tour on the island. The infrastructure is well provided, including kettle and hairdryer.

There is no elevator, which is clearly mentioned in the description, but it's not very comfortable to go to the 4th floor with a luggage, as the stairs are quite narrow.
The hotel is very close to the train station and the entrance to Venice, so you don't have to walk a lot with your luggage to get there. They can also store your luggage for free after checkout, which is great if you have a late flight like I did. They even have a waiting area you can use if you want to take a break from walking after checkingout

No TV in the room and no elevator. Otherwise, a pretty decent and lovely hotel to stay for a couple of days.
The walking distance between the hotel and Plazza San Marco was like 30mins. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby hotel. The room was nice and cleaned. The personel cleaned the room everyday.

Nothing - it was better than we expected for the price we paid so we have absolutely no complaints!
We really enjoyed our stay here - it's not luxury, but it's very clean, they have added modern touches (no chintz!) and it was excellent value for money! The location is perfect for exploring Venice and then being able to find your way back home again!

WiFi did drop in and out a bit, if your challenged with stairs indicate this in the booking as there are alot if you are on the top floor.

The smell wasn’t good in the room but opening of the windows helped.
Great location, 10 mins walk from the main bus stop and the train station. Very calm and quiet, the windows were to the small street. Nice stuff and helpful. Shower was good.

Furniture is worn out and not much amenities in room
