Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

unfortunately not having a window made it feel a bit claustrophobic for me - there is aircon but I personally like having the option of a window

Butiful & quite apartment in the hart of the old town, excelent breakfast, very freindly stuff gave us tips for travel, restorants & parking options. Highy recommended!

The apartment was in the pedestrian historical centre of Locorotondo, so parking was in a big square opposite the reception room. There was about a 5 minute walk to get to the apartment - this didn't bother us but should be pointed out to people with reduced mobility.
The location was excellent and Locorotondo is such a magical town to visit. The apartment was super clean and we were provided with dressing gowns and slippers - just like in a 5 star hotel! Breakfast was in a location nearby.

Bathroom needed a brighter light, but it was adequate.
Breakfast was amazing. A lot of variety served in a pretty breakfast room. Beautiful apartment, very spacious. Loved the stonework and room decor. Room cleaned every day was a plus. Roberto at reception was kind and helpful. He went out of his way to make our stay comfortable.

Beautiful apartment, great location in centro storico, free parking, nice breakfast buffet. The host is exceptionally helpful, friendly and kind- not only had a great restaurant recommendation, but even made a reservation for us!

A small welcome pack of milk, tea etc maybe would be nice on arrival. The local shop was closed when we first arrived. The shower head kept swiveling and spraying the whole bathroom

When you stay here you stay in a bit of history in the historical city center. The location was perfect, breakfast delicious, local restaurants were superb, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We 4 adults enjoyed our stay.

I can only say that I regret not having stayed here for more than 1 night!!!!!
The location of our apartments (we were 5 so had two different apartments) was right in the centre of Locorotondo. Roberto, our host, showed us around the apartments and was helpful and very friendly. One of the apartments was a two bedroom ground floor unit, the other (also two bedroom) was up some steps and on two floors - the top floor had very steep steps - definitely not suited for people with mobility issues) - and there was a fantastic terrace up another floor. Both apartments were spotlessly clean and we were provided with dressing gowns and bedroom slippers. I highly recommend these places and would definitely stay here again.

To start with, Locorotondo is a gem and makes a perfect base to explore Puglia and beyond, as most points of interest are within 90 minutes easy drive. Accommodations are in traditional houses, full of charm and character. Just be aware that this is not the best choice for people with mobility problems, given the steep stairs connecting the different floors.No car traffic or bars around , clean, quiet and relaxing. The view from our terrace was a picture perfect little street where a tasty breakfast was also served. Many very good restaurants within 2-4 minutes walking. Free parking lot nearby.

The AC broke on the second floor but on the second night Roberto was able to give us other accommodations. They we’re going through a terrible heatwave. The stairs may be a challenge for older people.
Roberto was an excellent host! He went above and beyond to try to make us comfortable and helping with transportation! The accommodations are pretty and breakfast was good!
