Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I had breakfast included. It was 'ok', but not the best and most elaborated breakfast I ever had. Buffet could have been a bit more.
I arrived very late, but checking in was no problem and the receptionist gladly gave me a drink at the bar. Very nice people, nice and large room. And everything was clean and smooth.

Breakfast was not freshly prepared at 6 am since we needed to leave early and not many options we could only have bread with spread cheese. Also dinner portions were so small. It was an okay stay but too expensive for the money and the location.

Not much around other than the airport.
The staff at the reception desk and at the restaurant were extremely polite and professional. The room was huge and well furnished. extremely close to the airport.

Location is good, everything is clean, breakfast good. Good for sleep over on the road after entering Italy. Parking around hotel is free of charge and safe.

It was difficult to get to the hotel to the airport - except using a taxi. I prefer to walk.

No Wi-Fi No place for dinner: restaurant was assigned to a group of which we were not a part. No restaurants nearby, only a couple a cab ride away or walking on highway. No offer of compensation or consideration for short falls. Cab from airport (7 min (4.9 km) via Via Aquileia/SS14 and SS677), some traffic 12 euro Cab arranged by hotel back to airport same route, no traffic 20 euro?
Only 5km from Trieste airport, so good for overnighter. Room was a good size, clean and quite, breakfast was good and staff were very nice and friendly. Great grocery store right next door! Includes deli, bakery, other foods, beer and wine etc. Nice newer facilities. Good location for dedicated conferences, shows or meetings. An interesting art show was on during this visit.

Hotel was comfortable for the night but not near anything without a car or taxi (except for supermarket next door)
Simple breakfast..bread,pastry, cheese and sliced deli meats plus yogurts and various cold cereal. Also nice assortment tea. Coffee and juice machines but no eggs or pancakes. Very close to airport but taxi charged 25 Euros..seemed too costly for such short trip. Large supermarket next door to hotel..picked up some prepared food and ate lunch on picnic table outside front of hotel as restaurant did not open until 7:30 pm

1. We got 2 rooms, in one of the room part of the lighting did not work 2. Breakfast consists of 2 options: omelette and pancakes, but pancakes was not available for some reason (like they are over). I’m sure that hotel with 4 stars and such a price should handle such cases and provide the similar breakfast quality for all guests

The pillows were like rocks.
The hotel interior is very convenient, the reception, lifts and restaurant all visible on entry. The staff were welcoming and efficient. The room was spacious and comfortable. No outside noise. The restaurant staff were particularly good at their jobs. Dinner was nice and range of choices for breakfast.

Room smelled like dump and very warm. Despite turning on aircon to the lowest possible temperature if was still warm. At the end we turned off, opened windows.and left them open all night to get some cool air. The beds are not comfy at all. Hard uncomfortable matress. Bedding with just sheet on top and duvet left in the wardrobe with no linen on. No kettle or coffe/tea maker.
Close proximitry to the airport. Good reakfast (continentall only thouugh). Nice interrior.
