Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Plastic mugs for the tea! Why not have proper mugs. It affected the taste !

No milk in the room and No breakfast was available for us. Had to buy toilet rolls as not replenished when room was cleaned. Also property was a bit to far away from the attractions other than the Vatican. To be fair that was my fault though as it was our first ever visit and we didn't realise how far away we where going to be.
Property was secure, very clean and spacious and could make coffee and tea in the room. Room was cleaned daily while we were out.

I can't see any people inside the hotel
The hotel location is very good. For me as a first timer its bit difficult to find out the place. Follow the messages from the host. Anyway nice and calm place

Nothing significant. It was a little weird that the bed sheets were not the same way as we got used to it, the blanket was covered with a sheet under and on the top but not in a closed bed sheet. Sometimes when the ventillation system turned on to heat the room, the fan was a bit louder but not very bothering.
The location is amazing, very close to the city centre, but a calm area with a very good vibe. The host and the receptionist were very friendly and flexible. We arrived late and they waited for our arrival at the entrance.

Could hear a little bit of noise in our room from kids staying in other rooms, but that's not the hotel's fault at all!
The place is modern and clean! All the amenities we needed were either included or provided when we asked!

Nothing!
Excellent location, we could walk to all tourist attractions as all were less than 2km away, and only Colosseum was somewhat further away at approx.3,5km (again, also doable on foot). Also, the room - we got the Junior Suite as we are a family of four- was exactly as pictured, clean, comfy - just what we paid for! Overall, this proved to be a very good choice and next time in Rome we will need to search anything else but accomodation as it will again be our place to stay!

We struggled with the hot water, there were no instructions and it was cold for two days

Fantastic location in a very nice neighbourhood, great and helpful owner, very clean and spacious, very comfortable bed. It is very easy to check in and enter the building at any time. We will be back for sure!

If you are looking to spend more time around the main part, it's a bit of a walk from the property. The coliseum was about 30mins walk which we did not mind as we got to soak in the atmosphere walking through the little streets.
The host was super attentive. Excellent location, right beside Vatican City. Free pastries and coffee in the morning were a nice touch. Secure building with easy access. The room was super clean. Highly recommend.

It was not very easy to find at the beginning, there was no staff at the receiption when we arrived, but they replied messages very efficiently that they helped us finding the gate very fast. Self-checkin is also simple so no big deal. In general great choice.
The room is for 3 person, there was a big bed and a single bed at the side. It's enough room for 2 ppl, but just enough maybe because we have big suitcases. The staff was very friendly. They recommended me for breakfast places and also gave my partner a big birthday surprise. The location is close to bus stop and also subway station. Could see the castle from the street.

Taking a shower was a adventure... water pressure and temperature changes continiously..
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. And coffee machine was a nice touch. Although there is noone in the reception, they were reachable whenever i need them.

Plaza Adriana is a busy place traffic wise. There was some road noise in one of the rooms during the evening.
The location is great. Close to everything but not in the middle of the whole mess. The neighborhood is also great. All staff was great and supper available.

We didn't like the sales tax in surplus of our paid bill that needed to be in cash.
Very new and clean apartment. Well located. 15 minutes from Piazza Navona, 25 minutes from St.Peter's Basilica/Vatican. The SIT BUS stop to the airport is 6 minutes away. We liked that water bottles, cakes, croissants, and coffee were accessible any time during the day. They cleaned our room daily. We really enjoyed our stay and staff was very nice!!

Friendly staff helped us with early check-in. Super communicative via Whats App, which helped us immensely to get to the place, rest up before heading out. With 2 teens kids room was spacious and comfortable bed.
