Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Italy- Only credit card accepted for deposit - if you have a debit card be prepared to leave 350 euro cash at reception they will also use the money you are giving as deposit and change it at their convenience with 100 euro pieces which is unbelievable! - no mosquito nets in the bungalow - no toilet paper provided - check-out 9 am - shower without hot and cold water regulation you risk to be burned or frozen - restaurant definitely too expensive for the quality provided - no phone signal
Amazing location Very friendly staff well stocked minimart inside the property lots to improve by the owner manager just to make things easier for visitors

HungaryThe beach had jellyfish unfortunately and was full with seaweeds so we did not try it, we went to other beaches. But the scenery is beautiful from the top with the torre and the bay, particularly at sunset.
The Camping has a very good location for exploring the north-western part of Sardinia. It has a great pool, good restaurant and a well-equipped shop. We stayed in a bungalow which was okay.

DenmarkVery strange payment method at the resort. You can't pay with your normal card. You must top up the card you receive from the camping with cash to pay at the bar and minimarket... No wi-fi at the rooms and very low signal. Forbidden to drink or eat at the pool
Very clean pool area and water. Very nice beach. Comfortable beds.

Slovakia2 issues: 1. Lots of ants everywhere around and in the lodge, 2. poor restaurant - both services and meals
The campsite was very nice, lots of trees, flowers, quiet at nigt. Beach was sandy, in beautiful bay with a watch tower. In comparisom with other famous beaches around it was not overcrowded.

SpainThe bar/ restaurant advertises pizza, however pizza is not on the menu. The jacuzzi is on a 15 minute cycle, it was on for 5 and off for 10 so you spent a lot of time waiting, and it was cold - not very pleasant. The toilets did not have toilet paper, only a bidet which would have been fine if they were working. The cabin was well equipped but with no cleaning products. It was wasteful for us to throw ours away after a few days. The bed sheets were dirty when we arrived and the mattress' were not comfortable. The cabin was poorly insulated from bugs so mosquitos joined us each evening making it tricky to get any sleep. We paid for an upgraded cabin to get the use of the kitchenette, the quality of the appliances was poor with only a gas stove and no room for meal preparation. The aesthetics was very old, shabby. The shower was very old, poor and dirty. The outdoor chairs were uncomfortable, there was no pleasant indoor sitting area without using the beds. The cupboard in the bedroom was broken. It was not possible to open the door and a draw at the same time, and you could not walk past it without leaning over the bed. There were no curtains, which gave us little privacy. We had to use the external shutters whilst getting changed and going to bed which cut out all natural light. Wifi could be reached at the bar/ restaurant area.
The location was amazing. The beach adjacent is one of the nicest beaches we visited in Sardinia. The coastline up from the campsite made for a very nice hike. The pool is well kept and the bar/ restaurant was well stocked with enough variety.

PolandBarking dogs (these were their dogs, not any guests dog). They barked all night (literally, all night, with a few minutes stops, 3 large breed dogs). No way to sleep throughout the night. Staff ignored my request to do something about it for 4 nights, I asked each day.
Lovely place, great views, private beach, a clean and functional bungalow in a great location, good vibe and a really nice, friendly staff (the dog issue just spoiled the fun, it seemed like an unsolvable issue).

SwitzerlandThe cabins were so far from advertised on the site that it hardly seemed the same place. We were initially given a hot, very old and mosquito ridden cabin. We upgraded (which we happily paid for) to one with air conditioning however it was equally hot and the air con did not work. With two small kids this meant there was nowhere to stay during the peak heat of the day and the nights were hot and horrible - it never got under 28 degrees even when we paid for extra air conditioning. There did not seem to be any cabins as advertised on the website at the campground. The market was also very bad with very little fresh food available. As the campground is very far from anything you are dependent on this if you wish to have fresh food and it was really disappointing. Service was not great although some individuals were pleasant. The child’s magician actually did a ‘lick finger and rub nipple’ move which is not the worst thing ever but dude, pick your audience. Not so great for the 5 and under crowd. At nearly 300 euro a night this was totally not value for money and I would not recommend it.
The beach was gorgeous. The restaurant was quite good.

ItalySlow check-in/check-out process and staff not helpful nor friendly (for example during our check-in turn the staff interrupted the process to assist another client behind us that want to prolong the stay one day more). We were very tired after a long walking day and we had our worst night of the trip. Our feeling is that the Villaggio main mission is to earn money. Probably was our fault to book without reading properly but in the cottages AC is not included and during the check-in no information was given about the room (and this could have prevented several of the following issues). Our surprise was when after we found the Air Conditioning in the cottage without remote control and we went back to the reception, the staff informed us that is not included: “with additional 30€/day you can leave the AC open continuously for 24 hrs”. So we started to sleep with closed windows to avoid mosquitos to enter but we woke up after an hour because too warm. Then after opening the windows we woke up because of too many mosquitos (only at this point we found out that the mosquito net was hidden in between the curtains and the window and possible to pull it down). Hope to be helpful for next customers.
The position close to the beach and the hiking trail was good.
