Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

JamaicaI thought the entertainment could be more impactful. The motown review was just the dj spinning a few records. Entertainment staff would have brought the evening to life.
I liked the food, the beach, the amenities and the cleanliness of the property.

JamaicaI disliked being ambushed by the membership crew! Robbing me of a peaceful breakfast with my husband and one and a half hours from my two-night stay caused me to drop my score from 10 to 7. If you want to sell me something (can't speak for anyone else), then be upfront about it. No need for gimmicks and trickery.
What's not to like? It's a fabulous hotel in a beautiful location with a great beach and lots of quality eating options on the property. The entertainment is pretty good, too!

CanadaBreakfast and lunch are served buffet-style, and are exceptionally busy/crowded. Check in and check out are also plagued by unusually standoffish guests, clearly accustomed to speaking to the staff as though they were servants. A slightly jarring experience, but not entirely within the hotel's control. I also have to mention that the pricing is a little bit much, for what you're getting.
The freedom to walk around and visit all the restaurants and bars at your leisure is nice, as are the many pools and beaches. The spa was very difficult to book, but once we managed to get a timeslot, it became immediately apparent why that was happening. The spa is fantastic, with a tonne of relaxing options. We got the couples massage package and loved every minute of it.

United States of AmericaThe first room we had on the 5th floor had a bad Musty smell , We opened the balcony doors to try and air out the room but it was to much to stay there witch sucked because the view was awesome. Moved to 3rd. floor witch also had a musty smell but not as bad, We would just leave the door open when we were out during the day and close it when we came back for bed , There is literally a big hole in the roof over the 5th floor room that we originally had.
Check in and check out was nice and easy, The restaurants were really nice , Pool area was clean and staff was around if you needed anything , Bartender was very funny in the pool and was excellent on keeping the drinks coming . Nice Beach area .

GibraltarWell, in the week before Christmas, and over Christmas there was always an abundance of sunbeds to choose from. However, from Dec 27th there was a huge influx of guests and unless you went down at 6am to put a towel on a sunbed you had no chance of securing one; anywhere. Moreover, the hotel staff did not help by not removing said towels (from unused sunbeds) in the prescribed time, as mentioned in the hotel literature. Would have appreciated a few more UK channels on the room TV - BBC1, ITV (yes, I know, you don't go on holiday to watch TV, but you get my drift).
The staff were superb. The facilities were also very good. The choice of places to eat was just enough for the 12 days we were there (but we did end up in the same restaurant too many times, as the other 'popular' restaurants were full and had as many 10 to 16 people waiting to get in). The beaches were excellent. The adult channels on the TV were appreciated ;-) .

United States of AmericaMy dislikes had NOTHING to do with the resort but I didn't like that I had booked my stay for a such a short period of time!
I stayed in the Preferred Club suites and those rooms were located right next to everything. I didn't have to walk far to enjoy all the amenities. The staff at the Preferred Club pool worked tirelessly to ensure that I enjoyed my stay. I would recommend this location for anyone seeking serenity!

United States of AmericaThe options for a Vegetarian are limited, to salads, pizza and fruit. Each restaurant such as French or Italian has few entrees and its not even authentic for each cuisine. Too many issues with maintenance such as shower heads, no lights, things not working or upkeep is lacking. the St. James Resort you can visit has same type of food, so that's boring. The Breathless resort we also has access to was nice to look at but the staff was rude and SNOBBY! Also many chairs with arms such as the French, Italian and Club lounge in Wild Orchid were not able to accommodate many plus size people as I ran into many people complaining (30 or more) in my week stay.
Staff are professional, top notch! World Café Buffet is Excellent! Adia and Devon are great Concierge! Dewayne Bartender at Barracuda Bar should be a stand up comedian, he made me laugh every day!! We were in the preferred club group and loved the daily E-Board that kept the activities and news at our finger tips, and the rotation of a small buffet all day made it a fun bonus!!

Abkhazia, GeorgiaThe only two things that I did not like was the water pressure was very low and the AC in the room was not cool. It was warm especially once the sun came out.
I loved the all inclusive aspect. Food and drinks were great. The staff was amazing and very friendly.

United States of AmericaThe one downfall to this amazing place was the mosquitoes. Even with bringing our own bug spray and using the bug spray provided by the hotel, my friend and I were constantly getting bit whether it was in the room or in the various eatery's around the property.
My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights. We had amazing butlers (Kenroy and Duran) who were two of the friendliest people I've ever met! They went above and behind when it came to making sure that we had everything we needed and then some. The beach was small, but it never got crowded and the water was perfect (just have to make sure to look out for the jellyfish). The food was amazing! I'm looking forward to planning another stay at this hotel in the future.

United KingdomAt dinner time the food took so long to arrive, I think a buffet style would be better than the al la cart.
The reception staff are so lovely! our first impressions of the resort was definitely 10/10 (very beautiful). The room was spacious and the bed very comfy! the view from our balcony was so pretty.

United States of AmericaThe food was bland and there were no rain contingency plans. We had to stay in rooms until the rain passed. Secrets should have had a place indoors for us to go and be entertained in spite of the rain (which is common in Jamaica). Also, all the indoor spaces (ie: restaurants) were a bit hot. Either the air conditioning wasn’t functioning properly or there was an opening allowing the hot air to enter.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating
