Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicThe entrance to the building looks scary and it is pretty cold inside, but they provide you with blankets.
Staff is really welcoming, the lady told us how to get to the dead sea without the taxi. Good place for 1-2 night, not more.

GermanyGreat location and very helpful stuff with good tips. The hotel itself was old and needs renovation, but it was clean and was fine for staying there for few days while exploring Amman. The shower was powerful. They gave us free breakfast which was very nice of them :)

Czech RepublicShared rooms are far from being renovated and the bathroom is the strict minimum. The building itself seems like it suffered a lot of things and the room was badly aerated, but given the price, it is a modest accommodation when travelling on low budget. I also never had an opportunity to have a breakfast even though it was advised on the board table.
Strategic position close to Downtown and not far away from Abdali (JETT Buses). Responding fast. Locker for everyone in the room (but some keys matches several locks 🤔)

AustraliaVery disappointing. The photo of the room that was there in the booking is not reflecting the reality at all!! It was pretty awfull, everything that could possibly be broken there was broken. Shower rooms' door was broken, shower's hose was half broken, towel rail broken, photos speak better than me. The only good thing about the place was their friendly staff.

GermanyWe left all our staff in our room, and when we came back they asked us to change to another room... Bad organization. The other room had a brocken window and we heared a lot the traffic. The women of the reception insisted and assured us that the best way was to get to the airport with a car that she would request us using an application and that it cost 12 JD. We asked her 3 or 4 times if she was sure about the price, and she said yes. when the taxi arrived, she suddenly told us that it was 30 JD. more than double!! We had only reserved 12 JD, because we were already leaving Jordan. we ran out of taxi, we had to run to catch a bus, we almost missed the plane... terrible service

HungaryThe room was too noisy and dirty. We had no private bathroom, but this might be my fault, maybe I misread something. I read "outside private bathroom" and sure it was outside the room, but was shared with other room. You can hear everything from the road, all the horns and müezzin end everything. I can't sleep at all. And the wardrobe was broken, I could not hang my clothes there.
The staff was really nice. We had a reservation at the end of the trip as well, and we asked for a room which headed to the backyard and not to the streetfront, and they gave us one, so at the last night, I could finally sleep.

AustraliaThe building is in rough state of repair (I think upper floors are abandoned) and not clean. The lift is working but no working alarm buttons so fingers crossed it doesn’t fail when someone is in it. Perhaps not the hotel’s responsibility but not a pleasant experience for visitors. Bedding not adequate- a tiny top sheet, didn’t cover one person, and a duvet without a cover. Bring your own sleeping bag- and a mug / cup if you want tea. only 2 mugs are provided for guests to share.
Staff are efficient and courteous. New bathroom in our room. Close to downtown but not too noisy.

PolandWell, the stair case to the hotel, located on the 2nd floor, looked like a leftover after a war. No windows, shreddy materials, broken glass. I felt a mixture of curiosity and fear to be honest. Breakfast was super simple, we need to eat outside.
Hot water 24/7. Not obvious in economy hotels in March. Close to Citadel.
