Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CyprusOnly one shower for so many people so you’d need to wait for a bit longer. Too close to the mosque that the morning prayer(the speaker) was so loud and could not sleep enough(first pray at 4…?).
Helpful staff and breakfast(nothing special but goo enough).

United KingdomThe rooms are a bit old and dusty, to say so.
The personnel was very kind and respectful. At arrival they offered me a room instead of a bed in the dorm, for the first night, at the same price of the initial booking, so after that I booked a room for 2 extra nights. They served nice breakfast included in the price, and one free coffee each afternoon. The receptionist told me about the white taxis that are cheap, are normal price based, which I highly appreciated. Very good location, downtown, walking distance to main archeological sites, market, bazar, touristy places, restaurants, exchange office etc.

JapanThe staff very helpful, especially Tariq helped me out in different ways; he always tries find out how he can help guests. The hotel location is very convenient, close to the Roman theater, to the citadel and to the downtown center. The view from my room was superb. The roof balcony wasn’t open yet, so staying in a room with a view was especially nice. If you take a free walking tour in the morning, you can visit the citadel and the Roman theater in the afternoon, then you are almost done with downtown Amman. To reach other areas, to get around the city, Uber is the easy and safe option. I came back to this hotel and ended up extending my stay. Jordan is overall expensive for a solo traveler. The excursions that I booked through the hotel were expensive, but still less expensive than the tours you can book online beforehand with famous agencies. It’s definitely worth booking excursions once you get to Jordan, you may even find someone to go with and split the cost.

United KingdomOnly small complaint was the road noise, but wouldn't stop me staying here again.1
Great location just 2 minute walk from amphitheatre, staff really friendly and helpful. Also took the free walking tour which was amazing. Ibrahim took us to the markets, let us sample some produce without any pressure to buy. Also really helpful was that Ibrahim showed us where to go to visit the main sites and places to eat, which we tried two recommendations, both or which were amazing. Also breakfast really nice and good start to the day.

Czech RepublicIt was cold in the morning in the dining room.
The hotel pleasantly surprised us. Although it's on Main Street, the night was quiet. Breakfast was delicious, coffee good. The receptionist was very helpful. Don't be intimidated by the appearance of the building. In front of the hotel entrance you could buy delicious coffee for 1 JOD.

NetherlandsThe room was very noisy, right above a busy road and we were waken up at 5am every night by the superloud prayers of the nearby mosque! The hotel should offer earplugs and do something about insulation (eg double or triple glass in the windows!) The shower was very small and inside the toilet, but otherwise worked OK
Location is walking distance from great monuments (Roman theatre, Citadel) and the downtown area with nice inexpensive shops and restaurants

United KingdomFabulous location in down town- so factor in the traffic noise and the local mosque overnight! Friendly staff who could not be more helpful- took me across the road to get a Jordan SIM card (half the price of another earlier quote). Good local breakfast. Taxi x2 from airport struggled to find it so suggest putting it into their Google Maps- then they can keep one hand on wheel……The entrance is hard to see as there is stairs up the the first floor reception. Local famous felafel at Hashem’s 5 minutes away.
