It cost a lot of money but was shabby. The heater worked a bit too well. It got too hot when left on at the lowest setting. So I shut it off at night but then would wake up and turn it on again when the room got cold.

The location is good and the beds in our room were big. The staff were great.

The hotel was a lot smaller and more cramped than I was expecting. I knew that it wasn't going to be huge, but from the lobby, the halls, the rooms, and especially the bathroom, it was all a little too small for me.

It was in a very convenient spot near the Nagano station. The staff were also very friendly and polite.

The room was very spartan and about one step up from a hostel. It felt very small to me.

desperately needs a refit - very old and dated. My room was very small and I could hear anytime someone opened or closed a door to other rooms (which happened a lot) the price was as expensive as a hotel I stayed at in Tokyo that was far better! so was not good value at all. I stayed here in winter and there was a cold draft coming through the window frame - when I mentioned this to the front desk they told me to crank up the heater and offered me an extra blanket or portable heater. looking on the bright side, the room wasn’t stuffy at least… I found hair in the shower from someone else which is probably because the bathroom was so tiny it would be hard to get in there to clean it well. I hate those little bathroom boxes they often have in older Japanese hotels. Overall I did not enjoy my time in this hotel and was glad to only stay one night.

When we first entered the room, the cleanliness was lacking. There were several unidentified hairs on the table and a couple of dead insects on the bed. There were puddles of what appeared to be water in the bottom of the fridge. A big concern was the lack of a security latch on the door. Some of the hardware was there, but the latch itself had been removed. Our room was on the 4th floor, but we were still able to clearly hear the noises from outside into the night. The a/c only offered a heat setting, but even on low, it made the room quite hot.

Conveniently located across from the Zenjoki entrance/exit of Nagano Station, the hotel has a Family Mart attached to the building as well as a restaurant. Around the corner, you'll find several other restaurants and izakaya to fulfill whatever cravings you may have. The bed was comfortable although the pillows were a bit thin. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating. The lobby included a shampoo bar offering various types of shampoo for you to use instead of the standard shampoo that was in the room.

Non smoking areas smelled of cigarette smoke. We booked a double room and we’re given a small bed with one pillow and one towel.

Location was as described ie 250 metres from Nagano Station. Level 10 has a lounge area with district views.

The step up from the room to the bathroom was much too high. Going in wasn’t terrible, but coming out I had to hold on to the towel bar, then slowly lower myself to the room floor. I can’t help thinking that every room in the hotel is the same, and what it must be like for people who aren’t as able bodied as I am to have to do that (multiple times) in the middle of the night. Shocking! There should be a step there, which might mean that it would only be possible to open the room door half way. (A good trade-off.)

The bathroom curtains smells. The air-conditioning was very difficult to adjust to a comfortable temperature. There's only Low, Middle, High.

It is conveniently located across JR Nagano station. The bus stops are right in front of the station. The bed is very comfortable. I had accidently booked a smoking room but I was able to change to a non-smoking room the next day.

I booked a double room but was given a single. the staff were really unhelpful. it’s old and dirty. there were stains all over the sink and old hair in the bath tub. tv did not work. really bad experience.

I didnt like facility it was unclean makes me feel uncomfortable and unrelaxing. Amenities system are lack and bad. Phone must provided coz embarrassing to go out with pajama. Tv must provide to catch early news.

The actual property is very dated and in poor condition. The bathroom doesn’t feel awfully clean and the room itself is in need of real renovations. Given the costs for this accomodation you would expect more. The location still central is very noisy with constant noise from traffic lights, pedestrian crossing and it is next to the more loud and party area of nagano
