We liked everything about the property, the only thing we wld mention is - if you’re driving, there is a slightly steep slope leading into the chalet, it was very manageable for us with a 4WD and snow tires. Note that there are also stairs within the 3-bedroom chalet and you would have to clear the trash before checking out.

The chalet was very spacious and clean, hosts were very accommodating and made sure we were well settled. Property was equipped with everything you need - washer, dryer, cooking stove, toaster etc everything. There also nice little touches like complimentary toast and juice for breakfast. We really appreciate it!

Super easy communication with the staff / owners - phone or by WhatsApp. Pick up and drop off on arrival/ departure. Staff also very helpful about the town. Loads of complimentary welcome foods. Washing machine and drier with detergent supplied. They’ve worked out what travelling families need!

We had an excellent stay for 2 nights. The cottage was really nice, cozy, clean. Special thanks to the hosts - extremely helpful and very prompt to our queries. The beds were really comfortable - bunk beds were fun for the kids. Highly recommend this place to stay.

There was a sticky patch on the stairs top. hairdryers have dirty scratches. Ground floor toilet basin is really small. No space to put a lot of things. Stairs are a bit high for my mother

Room was immaculate. The staff here went above and beyond the help and accommodate us, Hiromi was so friendly showing us around town also took us to the shopping centre free of charge even offered to pick us up from the mountains after snowboarding. Felt like they really cared and had great conversations

The drive up the road was incredibly steep .

I loved the floor plan it was so practical . I also loved how close it was to restaurants and bars . You could really tell that the owners put a lot of thought into this location proving snacks and coffee.

The layout of the kitchen table could've been done better to make it easier for those staying at the loft to access the staircase but apart from that it was exceptional.

The chalets were very cosy and the size was just right for groups. Mick and Sarah have been very accommodating and very quick to respond to my inquiries.

This accommodation is excellent. We stayed in the Mountainside chalet and were very comfortable with 2 adults and 3 children. Mick, the owner, and his staff were awesome, helpful and extremely accessible for the duration of our stay. There is attention to detail at this site. We will be back.

Steep driveway made getting ina nd out difficult, especially in the heavy snow. Ski bus was a 10 minute walk.

located nearby Happo gondola and Kokusai lift yet walking access is difficult. steep slope to get there. recommend to have a car / plan transport or best to walk through the small path to head to the gondola.

On very snowy days it seemed difficult to drive down the steep path to the cabins/chalets even with snow tires. We watched several cars and SUVs slip down the path and get stuck. I’m not sure of their tires, but we had snow tires and we still managed to slip down the path for a few seconds and then gain control. The 2 other cars that got stuck prevented us from driving back out to a restaurant that night on New Years Eve. All taxis were full too. That wasn’t fun. The heater in the Mountainside cabin turns off every 6 hours. It was a safety feature, but still made us get up in the middle of the night to restart it. If we didn’t we would freeze.

The cabin we stayed in was very comfortable for our family of 4. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was small, yet accommodated all of our cooking needs. They even provided coffee for the French coffee press that was provided. The best feature was the western style clothing dryer above the washing machine. We have young children and it made washing and drying clothes so easy! We loved the Apple TV and access to Netflix.

They advertise it as for ten people but it actually only accomodate a 8 people. We stayed for ten days and there is just not the cupboards to put your things. They do not service the chalet e crept to empty the bins. Bedside lamps were not provided for both sides of the bed. We couldn’t get the heating to work properly despite getting staff in and it was cold at night. Outside fire place does not work.

It is a big chalet with excellent cooking facilities however it is definitely getting a bit tired for the price

There are 3 bedrooms on the ground floor once you enter the villa. The living room, dining room and kitchen are on first floor.

Could have been better: The place is build to be used during Winters as there are floor heating everywhere. But just one Air conditioner in the whole villa. The dining table is situated very dangerously. As there is sudden depth between living and dining area. So getting in to and out of dinning table was dangerous. About kitchen, although it was very clean there is no space to actually cook. All eminities are given, but you need to setup all those eminities out of kitchen so that you can use them. Which takes lot of your time. Microwave oven is kept high and behind the refrigerator. Very difficult to operate. So we didn't use it for obvious reasons. There is no exhaust fan in kitchen, and it's just next to Bedroom so whatever you cook, you can smell it throughout the night. Owner was very unfriendly. There were total 4 villas A, B, C, D. Villa D was too near the bushes and there were many spiders so our kids were afraid of getting in to the Villa. so we requested to get shifted to other Villas as all the villas were vacant. But rather then helping and solving the problem the owner started lying and making excuses. Like if you book directly from us then I can change. But if you book through booking.com nothing can be done. And she started saying that there are guest coming that night whereas still the remaining villas were available for booking over the website when I checked while discussing with them. We were there for 2 nights and only last day when we were checking out the other villas got occupied. Not at all accommodating house owner. Would have like it better if we would have got better hospitality.

Nice looking, newly built villas. Very clean. Big rooms. Beds were comfortable. House manager was very friendly and helpful.
