Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNot a lot to say about this airport hotel. There is a shuttle bus direct from the terminal to the hotel and back to the airport next day. The rooms are a bit outdated, but we showered and slept effectively so it was okay. It was also not so expensive, so all in all we were satisfied. It did the job.

JapanAs usual the bus drivers make a fuss about too much luggage and throw my bags around. The buffets and food/facilities in general were very expensive. If you are really just stopping for the night for a cheap nice hotel to stay then it's great. But if you want to live it up a bit more and were expecting to use the pool and eat all your meals there then you'd need to be prepared to pay. Well I can't say anything because I'm broke. But compared to other hotels like crown and art (not that i would recommend there) it was expensive. I could only afford the breakfast buffet but I was a little disappointed for the price, there wasn't nearly as many dishes as other hotels I've stayed. I also considered the lunch and dinner buffets as they really looked delicious from afar. But once you look closer you'll see it's really just the hyped up crab legs, gourmet wheel cheese pasta, and rare beef that seems to be the reason for the high price. I honestly couldn't imagine eating 8000 yen worth of food there even if i went back for 2nd and 3rd helpings.. I could buy 3 or 4 gourmet meals in my hometown with that much. And the convenience store unfortunately didn't have much to choose from if you're not looking to eat at the restaurant. Well, what can I say, it's a great hotel. Especially compared to others in the same price range. But from the look of the rooms and the facilities, I would say it's more aimed to accommodate event guests, business people, and other rich Japanese who are there to leisurely enjoy their time, not the thousands of foreign tourists who are exhausted, hungry and just passing through for the night.
The rooms are cheaper than other surrounding hotels of the same class and arguably nicer. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in while transferring through Narita and really close to the airport. The outside area is good for a walk, nice little slice of old countryside nestled between the mega airport infrastructure. The tourist shop inside had some great quality stuff.

United KingdomShower was a bit small. Couldn't move shower head higher so I felt like I was banging my head. Also tripped up on the slight step getting into bathroom.
Loved the airport shuttle, made it so much easier to get to/from the airport, it was one less thing to worry about. Room was nice. Only stayed for one night before heading closer to Tokyo. Hotel was good for one night to rest after a long flight. Black out curtains were amazing.

AustraliaWe did not realize you need to turn on the airconditioning. It was off when we arrived and the switch was hard to find. The breakfast starts at 6:30 am which was too later for our early flight.
The airport shuttle was very convenient. It only took 4 minutes to get from the hotel to the airport. The convenience stores sold everything you need.

IsraelSomewhat outdated rooms. Not inside the airport as in some other airport but the closest it gets on Narita, and again: the shuttles work great. Only one USB port per room, so if you need more or use USBC you need to charge from Japanese electrical outlet (we had only one converter which was sufficient for all other hotels in our stay in Japan)
Very well organised and frequent shuttle service to and from the airport terminals. Less frequent shuttles exist also to Narita city terminal and shopping mall (Aeon) Staff is very nice. Clean. Convenience store inside hotel. (Was open to 10:30 pm when we stayed I think)

AustraliaFacilities are dated and although reasonably maintained and are not to current international standards. However the lower price, cleanliness and overall comfort of accommodation more than compensated.
Big room in an older style hotel which caters to western travellers and is almost on airport. Fabulous buffet dinner - lots of variety, great salads and fruit choices and a wide variety of main dinner choices and desserts + at a reasonable price per head. Due to early flight we did not have time for breakfast but really appreciated the early free shuttles to international airport. Cheaper than staying in Tokyo an extra night and we were able to arrive on a late afternoon express train and have a good night's sleep before the flight.
