Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndonesiaThe check in hour is very strict. It is exactly 3 pm they will share your room key. And apparently hotel in Japan is like that.
The hotel didnt disappoint me at all. It is exactly like advertised. It was equipped with air purifier and pajamas, which I found very unique to Japan. It was spacious and accessible to nearby bus stations.

AustraliaBreakfast by Japanese hotel usual standards was not as varied as other places, so menu options more limited than usual.
Very modern building reasonably close to Shinkansen station on well serviced bus route (3 stops). Early morning free shuttle took us to station in plenty of time. Location is a few blocks from vibrant Canal City shopping centre/ entertainment and restaurant area, and well patronised street food at Riverside stalls in the evening Also direct bus route to old castle and Ohana park, with a modern city art gallery there, lake walks, jogging, cycling, gardens and a lovely modern tea house on the lakefront. Our room was large with fantastic bathroom. Only problem is usual Japanese issue of no wardrobes/suitcase space. When you are travelling and living from your case for a month you don't want to be constantly packing and unpacking. Great laundry but no ironing facility.

GreeceWonderful stay! The room is indeed a bit small, especially if there are two guests with two XL suitcases, yet, spotlessly clean and there are so many amenities provided that make up for a very comfortable stay. There is also free bus service to Hakata Station in the morning which is really convenient.

Loved the bathroom which is separated from toilet. It was spacious and luxurious. Toilet room was furthest from bed(s) which I think is a good room layout.

ThailandThe parking lot is an automatic one. It can process storing/delivering one car at a time. It takes time when there is a queue.
Clean. Good location. There’s a 7-11 store next to the hotel entrance. The checkout is done at the machine, which is very easy and quick.

United KingdomHaving to choose the breakfast you'd like the night before. Not having option to just have the buffet breakfast on its own.
The room I stayed in had a lovely view of the city, and the hotel was situated conveniently close to Hakata Train Station. The room itself has a nice deep bathtub which was lovely to soak in after a long day of sightseeing and shopping, especially if you use the complimentary bath salts and oils located in the hotel foyer. The breakfast is also very filling and delicious. You can pick from the local speciality, a boiled breakfast or Japanese spin on wester breakfasts, like an omelette etc. all in addition to the buffet breakfast.

SingaporeThis hotel was so new and clean! The location was really good as well, just a few bus stops away from hakata station. There were a few cafes and eating places nearby, and it's convenient to get to a few places of interest from this hotel. There's also a 7/11 store just right at the entrance of the hotel. Love it! (They even provided complimentary bath salts for their guests to use!)
