only 1 bathroom and only staircase (no lift) although its not an issue for me since I travel light and most ryokan has no lift.

Hotel is right in front of station and spacious room and very clean. Wifi internet available. Wide shared bathroom with washing machine. The owner is very kind and stayed up late to help me check in late. Also thanks for the chocolates. Hope to stay there again when i visit Aomori again.

There's only 1 or 2 showers so expect a wait in the morning. Unless you are coming in August, the staff couldn't recommend anything to do in the town of Aomori.

The walls are rather thin and I could hear the other guests as well as the when the washroom was being used. I suggest wearing earplugs if you're sensitive to sounds.

The ryokan is close to the station, the hosts were really nice, and I had the fortune of being on the same floor as the toilets and washroom so it was very convenient for me. The room I stayed in was also really nice and spacious (for the price).

Really nice stay! Traditional Japanese bedroom, shared toilet and bathroom. The host was very friendly. I received a yukata for use and a can full of tea, which was amazing after a long travel day. I would highly recommend this place because it's so much better than a hotel (especially experience wise).

There were quite a few stairs as it is an older Ryokan. There was a big language barrier with the host. However she is more than happy to communicate through translation apps and had many signs written around the building with instructions to follow.

I loved the accessibility to the station. The place was very clean and well kept for an older Ryokan. The host was lovely and more than accommodating.

Walls are a bit thin and bathrooms and shower are shared with other guests, same with sinks in common area if you're okay with that. Room also only had 1 extension outlet. Not much space if traveling with large sized luggage either.

The proprietor was very nice and accommodating. Value for the stay is really good and location is pretty good too.

Only 1 shared toilet per floor. And only 1 shared bathroom with 2 onsen-like wash faucets to share amongst all the guests on both floors - so a 20 mins limit is imposed!

The staff is very friendly, speaks a bit of English, location is great - very near the Aomori Train & Bus Station. Room and futons are spacious and comfortable.

Best location in Aomori, close to JR and the other sites. Extremely kind host. It is what it is, and the facilities though shared are easily accessible and were luckily free to use, no waiting at all. Smoking room on 3rd floor next to the toilet was a saviour. You Know the host cares, when u find a lighter inside it. Definitely recommend for a short city break.
