Very pleasant. Location is in the heart of the city The lift up the hill in the morning made the access to the skiing simple and the walk down the hill in the evening was through the village and all the shops. Dangerous to the pocket. Wonderful cafe in house providing great breakfasts The Blat was extraordinary, had it every day. The family loved all the cakes, unfortunately this meant multiple deserts per night.

A little far from the hill but found out a couple of days in that they offer a free shuttle anytime. This service was great but wish we had been told about it during check in.

Spotless clean, well equipped kitchen, great hot pools on site plus a public onsen two steps away, lovely and helpful English speaking staff, delicious pastries at the cafe, very quiet (although we didn’t have any neighbours during our stay), perfect location to see some stuff in the area within an hour drive, free laundry facility, very comfortable beds. In short, we had an amazing stay and will gladly come back. This is a very well run property.

Everything was absolutely amazing. The staff was friendly and even waited for us after their working hours. The food was high quality and delicious. Spacepus room with Japanese vibes. Loved the yukatas and the onsens. Absolutely amazing!

It was slightly difficult to navigate the narrow roads leading to the hotel, but no issue if we went slow. The toilet cubicle was also quite small, but not a major issue.

I loved the hospitality from start to the end. Especially loved how Hannah from reception supported my questions prior to arrival, and Chef Harding and wife for the amazing breakfast every morning!

The curtains are not blackout, but there are eyeshade provided by the property which is helpful.

I love the windows are big on both walls, and can open for fresh air. Kitchen is very useful with dinning table, bed is comfortable and decent size. Family room has fun board games to play.

The fridge is tiny compared to the vast high-tech stove top. The gym looks abandoned. One of the washing machines is not working. Parking space is rather small.

Separate bedrooms with en-suite bathroom. High-tech stove with a huge countertop. You can watch your favourite film or drama while snuggling in your bed. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not a buffet but a good hearty breakfast. The coffee was decent.

Amazing!! The room and all the property were amazing. The best we could have ask for in this amazing and small town. The stuff was super super nice, especially James at the front desc that help us with everything we asked. The breakfast was great!!

Beds were very hard and the blinds were not very dark, so you can’t avoid the morning light. Also the onsen was not as nice as others around despite staff saying it was the best in Nozawa.

everything was amazing, the layout of the apartment was spacious and the beds were so comfortable. the staff were so warm and welcoming. The chef at the property Darren makes the best breakfast not to mention an amazing human being who made our stay extra special.
