Good location, quiet in a small street near a shrine

This smaller facility was tucked away behind a picturesque Japanese garden. It was walking distance to shrines and temples and we found a charming market before eventually ending up at the waterfront pier. Loved Nagasaiki and hope to return one day!

If you arrive late at night and it is cold and rainy you might ask yourself why you chose a place far from the station, but it is only a few stops by tramway and when you arrive the kindness of the owners will conquer you!

Extremely friendly owners, clean room, I had plenty of space. Common restroom and showers very clean, super cozy kitchen, the owners suggested me a good jazz club for my second night and I loved it!! I walked from there to the harbor and to the main attraction points but there are also buses and tramways

The hosts are great, the house is nice. I am not used to shared bathrooms, but everything was clean, so no need to worry. Love the room where it is possible to have breakfast. The amount you have to pay for the towels you use is reasonable...

A little bit far from the town center and a bit noisy as there is a big road near.

Our host were very nice and helpful. The lady of the house was so kind with us, especially as my wife is a huge fan of kimono. The futons were very confortable, some of the best we had in Japan. We will be happy to come back if we return to Nagasaki.

The place is very clean and comfy. It's a great experience staying in a Japanese style room. The owner is very helpful. There are free bread and jam for breakfast in the lovely kitchen.

Location bit far away and some stairs to climb! Be aware with big luggages. But overall they are good.

Yukari-san and Kou-san are the warmest, sweetest most helpful people we have met in a nation of warm sweet people. They made our stay here so special. And we love their guesthouse. A little old and worn but so comfortable and like home. And the quiet lane that leads from the tram terminal to their place, past the Torii gate, seems to lead into a gentler, more real Japan. There is also an excellent shopping street 10 minutes away (with a great Italian restaurant.)

This stay was the cherry on the top of my Kyushu trip, by far. The place is a bit far but the warm welcome from the owners is worth every yen. If you're looking for human authenticity and a place that feels like home look no further !

The owners are absolutely lovely people and were very welcoming, making me feel right at home. The place is very nice with a comfortable room and nice shared space for the kitchen/living room and bathrooms. I was travelling by bike and the location was great, a bit out of the city center but within easy reach. It is also located next to a very nice temple.

Only a short walk from the tram line / not many rooms providing an intimate setting / owners were very friendly and helpful, even when I made mistakes with our room key / directions provided for reaching the property were very thoughtful / quiet and calm at night time.

The owners are extremely gentle people, had a great time staying here. The futon is really comfy and warm, the traditional bath is great, and the location is wonderful (near the Hotarujaya tram terminal). I fully recommend it.

The location is very pretty. But a bit outside. For me it was okay.

The futons are as comfortable as they can be given that they are the old style. They are still quite uncomfortable but that's not the fault of the hotel, simply that futon are not the best.

Wonderful staff and facilities. It's very traditionally Japanese but still comfortable. The little breakfast included was a perfect start to the day.

The hosts are so nice. The Japanese-style guesthouse was very comfortable and in a peaceful location. Comfortable beds. There's a small kitchenette area with a microwave, crockery, cutlery, fridge/freezer. Tea & coffee available all day plus toast & jam for breakfast. After check-out, we could store our bags at the guesthouse until the evening when we caught the night bus.

Great for experiencing a proper Japanese style room with tatami mat floors and a futon bed. It’s also very spacious! The facilities are clean and modern. The couple who run the guesthouse are lovely and very helpful. They speak good English so easy to communicate if you don’t know Japanese.

Nothing, all was very nice.

The owners are exceptionally nice people, we loved spending some time with them. The room was big, clean and comfortable, they even offer free breakfast. It was a perfect stay.
