Very hard bed, woke up with backache. Perfect for those used to sleeping on a hard floor. It does the job for a night or 2 but not more.

The elevator is somehow inconvenient. My room is next to the entrance, so I get startled and wake up every time someone comes in and out. I've never stayed in a dorm where basic items like towels and toothbrushes cost extra. Other places even provide makeup remover, lotion.

Too many of restriction and rules. Need to spend time to read the rules during check in but so far it good to have it.

The location was great. Just a few street from the Otaru Train Station. Definitely will stay again if come to Otaru as it was value for money.

As it is on a hi / upper floor, there is a slope for luggages but it is a floating slope which we have to carry a bit to meet the slope lane.

We booked two beds in a mixed dorm so we could be together, but they gave us one bed in a male-only room and one in a female-only room, so my partner and I had to stay in different rooms :( My room was empty apart from me, and there seemed to be a few empty rooms so I’m not sure why we couldn’t be together, but apart from that the stay was perfect.

The lobby has a really cute camping vibe :)

It would have been nice if they provided earplugs. I noticed a couple of people who stayed during my time there was a little noise at night. So, it was hard for me to go to bed.

The location of the place was very convenient. The was a convenience store next door along with a small street of shops and restaurants. It was also a short walk from the station, the canals, and other shops.

The entrance is difficult to find at night. If they can have the instruction to go to the place it will be very nice. Only one AC port available and lightning inside the bunk bed is limited. Bringing an adapter with multiple ports is recommended. Staff left early (9pm) and came late (12pm~). Better ask everything beforehand. The elevator stops when there is no staff. Only stairs...

The shower was nice. The place is clean.

Well.. if I have to say, I arrived before noon and tried to keep my luggage before check-in time but there was no way to enter since all the stairs and elevator was locked. No staff before 12. But it is understandable. They save money in that way to provide cheaper accomodation. I satyed here less than 2500yen even just a day before the Sapporo Snow Festival when all the hostels and hotels riased their prices doulble.

Well managed hostel. Big communial area. Clean and big shower area. Cheap laundry and direr.

Lift and reception operated only from 12pm -9pm. After that no services at all. Imagine have to Carry luggage all the way from upper without lifts. Common lounges area light was also out on our level after 9pm. That’s the reason I give it 7 otherwise this place deserves a 9 point.

We had a family private room, which was nice. This place is really new n super clean. Staff was nice.

there is no place to refrigerate your food inside the room, but the 3rd floor kitchen is available for that. if you need to store a lot of ingredients for an extended period of time it may become a bit complicated though, since the fridge is used by everyone. shouldn't be an issue as long as you travel light^^

the room was kept very warm, beds were comfy, and the overall layout of the 4 bed room worked very well for 3 people. the staff were very helpful and had great customer service. the location is also great, walking from otaru station was very easy even with snow and there is a Lawson directly below as well as many restaurant options for food.
