One of the best breakfasts we had in Japan, very good onsen, photos don’t do justice to the room, our room was very well stocked, they even provided washing liquid for the washer.

Maybe it was very busy time, concierge response time was not very timely but I could understand that. In one incidence, there was confusion on my car pickup. I requested to meet the driver early but was told that it couldn't be changed due to peak season. However the driver actually arrived earlier at my requested time by about 45mins. We were waiting at the hotel lobby but no one informed us until I checked. I fully appreciated it was very busy time so this is just a feedback for continuous improvement.

The hotel is well equipped with full kitchen appliances. Room is very spacious and with Rhythm onsite for ski rental which is very convenient.

Wide variety of food for breakfast and opened early for getting onto the mountain first thing. Shuttle bus excellent, essentially felt a like a ski in ski out resort. Room facilities exceeded expectation and very comfy beds. In hotel restaurants great food, particularly Afuri- great value and worth the queuing. Lovely communal lounge and fireplace for evenings.

The one thing stopping it from getting a perfect score was the lunch provided in place of breakfast. The lunch is offered as they admit breakfast can get very busy with long queues, it is commendable that they have accepted this and provided a workaround for the guests in the form of a lunch on the day you didn’t take the breakfast. However, the lunch is definitely an afterthought and it feels like that. The pasta dish gave “leftover” vibes.

Fantastic new property in the heart of Hirafu. The interior design is stunning, the rooms are comfortable and the vibe in the hotel is elegant but chilled. Couldn’t ask for a better up market ski resort hotel.

Some might find its breakfast a little simple. I liked its breakfast, and my partner did not enjoy as much as I did. But both loved its coffee.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Contemporary Elegance: A new hotel with impeccable taste. Spacious and Well-Equipped: All the amenities you could possibly need from a well-appointed kitchen, complete with a coffee machine, to a convenient washer/dryer. Fantastic Facilities: Onsen(you might find a better onsen, but this is not an onsen ryokan), a well-equipped gym, and multiple inviting lounges to unwind. Ideal Location: Cose to the ski resorts, right across a convenient store, and within a 5-minute walk of delis and restaurants. Exceptional Staff: They went out of their way to assist me with various requests, including arranging for a book delivery and helping me book activities, even though I had made those arrangements independently. Plus, if you visit Niseko during green season, Setsu is the best choice as many other hotels in the area can feel a little deserted.

We absolutely hated the beds!! They are so uncomfortable and the pillows are just completely useless. I really do not understand that they put so much effort in designing the hotel, but pay no attention on offering decent mattresses and pillows. At this price point they really should do better. I also did not like the way the breakfast is organized. You have to set up your own table, by collecting knives, forks from a plastic tray. The coffee is offered in a paper coffee cup, which is very poor and weird if you ask me. These are items which should be improved for overall better experience.

The room is light, new, spacious. The amenities in the room, with the dishwasher, washing machine etc are just great. Overall service from the staff is excellent, they arrange everything you request. The design of the hotel is just awesome, they really put a lot of effort in every detail. Do try the suhi omakashe restaurant, great experience!
