The pool was extremely hot. So much so that it made for a very uncomfortable pool experience.

It's a little way out of town so you need a Tuk tuk or car to get around.

Perfect hotel. Outside Battambang, but easily accessible by tuk tuk (the hotel even pays for 1 journey a day). It has a great restaurant that's well priced. The pool area is excellent and the garden and lake pretty. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, with lots of advice on how to get the most from the area and options for tours at good prices with English speaking drivers. We stayed 5 nights and loved it.

Beautiful peaceful setting, lovely pool, lovely food and the most helpful and friendly staff- arranging tuk tuks, trips and onward taxi- the staff really are so nice and kind. We were in a gorgeous lakeside villa . We only ate in once - our last night - and it was all set up beautifully by the pool and was the nicest food we had in Battambang . Cycled to gecko cafe and gift shop a km away which was also lovely . Did usual bats,circus and bamboo train which were all great , but the best thing was relaxing by the pool.

Had trouble using my Visa card so had to pay in cash which I did not have the problem with 5 other hotels that we stayed.

The western style food selection is limited but passable, coffee very good, Khmer food have moderate tasted catered to western guests. I am Khmer, so I went to town for authentic taste. Didn't try the pool, but the room was adequate.

Battambang is an interesting town but very busy and noisy . Coming back to Battambang resort after a tour is like arriving in an oasis of tranquility. The resort is set in a beautiful garden . The swimming pool is huge with plenty of sun beds to relax . Food is delicious and they use a lot of their own grown vegetables. Staff are so friendly, smiling and helpful. I will strongly recommend Battambang Resort.

We loved the staff who were so helpful as well as the owners. Very helpful. We had the lake room and it was beautiful and homely. Food was excellent also. Would definitely stay again. Our favourite accommodation in Cambodia.

The gardens and pool were beautiful. The staff and food was excellent. It was a little bit out of town but added to its charm and peacefulness. Easy to get a tuk tuk into town if needed. Would definitely stay again.

There was nothing not to like

The hotel was amazing, an oasis of ambience and jungle. The lake view room was exceptional and like living with nature, watching the sunset, the beautiful dragon flies and 🦋 butterflies. The calm and peaceful atmosphere equalled with the most lovely staff available 😊 whom were extremely kind and courteous and people friendly. We had a meal in the evening in candlelight by the pool oasis and a birthday dessert and rendition of Happy Birthday by the staff to my partner. Highly recommended and we will return 🥰

Everything was perfect. Lovely place in the beautiful nature, surrounded by a nice garden and many stunning flowers. The pool area is so great and the food in the restaurant one of the best we had in Cambodia. The staff is very cute and helpful, they do a really good job. We also saw the owners of the hotel and they were greeting very friendly 😊they seem to be very good people. The staff from front desk helped us to organize a day tour and we enjoyed it so much. Our room was very clean and lovely decorated, very quiet. We were sad that we had to leave, but we hope to come back one day to this amazing place 😊 all the best for you Battambang Resort!

Nothing we loved everything at Batdambang resort.

Phary and her team are wonderful. The resort is spotlessly clean, pool great with towels supplied, loungers and brollies. The food was very tasty and we thought it was good value. The breakfast was good quality and plentiful and catered for European and Cambodian taste. Try the homemade jam it's delicious. Free transport into the city once a day, you have to sort out return journey but easy to do on a tuk tuk. The hotel tuk tuk driver Samboo is great. He took us out on a tour which I would highly recommend. Staff attentive without being over the top. You won't be disappointed. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.100% fantastic. The Cambodian people have been through so much which is very sad but their resilience is incredible, you have to respect them and wish them well for a brighter and prosperous future ❤️
