Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

DenmarkThe Riad is beautiful and well taken care of. The rooms are small, but they have everything you need. Beds are comfortable :) It is located very good within the Medina, everything is within walking distance. The assistant manager, Fayssal, is helpful and amazing. He made us feel like home. Thanks to him our stay was unforgettable! We cannot thank him enough 🙌

United States of AmericaThe nighttime neighbors could be heard through the din but it didn’t really bother me at all.
The location inside the Medina ( once you got familiar with the surroundings) as actually super! The place is a quaint nicely decorated venue with several floors and rooms. Perfect for a stay in a city where you want to do as the locals do and be treated not much more differently than the people who live there. A truly excellent Riad Manager. Faisal; of the best I have ever had the opportunity to meet , was a wonderful host with many tips and helpful advice. He arranges for EVERYTHING!! Even though the Riad was a a nice but small size, I felt valued and treated the same as if I were at La Mamounia or as high as that calibre of hotel.

PortugalAll was perfect.
Everything was perfect. The Riad is very central, and is very beautiful inside, very cozy and with a great decoration. It is also very calm, right in the middle of the old city. Breakfast and dinner were just wonderful, right in the beautiful upper terrace. Fayssal was a perfect host and help us all time. Very kind and attentive. The room was very nice, with AC and great conditions. Definitely recommend if you are looking for kind treatment and an authentic space.

Czech RepublicI didn't like to hear that Booking.com is overbooking rooms. After reading some negative comments about this place (some people writing "don't ever go there!"), I asked, and they explained that hopefully they partner with other Riads to place people in other rooms when Booking.com does this. I recommend NOT TO USE BOOKING.COM and call the Riad directly.
Everything went very well, and the staff is excellent!

SpainNo complaints at all.
Fantastic location. Close enough to the edge of the Medina to easily find and get to the heart of the Souk within 15mins slow walk. Traditional Riad with a basic level of facilities, however impeccably clean. So many to choose from but we don’t feel we made A bad choice.

United KingdomOther guests making noise could be an issue due to the style of the property, depending on the guests at the time.
Breakfast was great. Internet was very fast - totally unexpected due to the location inside the city walls. It's an old school Riad style guest house. Very cool looking. The staff are great. Beds were comfortable. Shower was hot. Although outside the accommodation it's an insanely busy street, you can't hear the street noise in the rooms, or even really on the patio at the top. You need to print your boarding pass before flying out of Marrakesh. The staff at the hotel were kind enough to do this for us, and are aware that this is a thing in Marrakesh airport.
