Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BelgiumPerfect location close to the historical centre of Marrakesh. The price is unbelievable. The host is very kind, we got traditional welcoming tea, one of the best we drunk in Morroco. If you do not need a luxurious hotel, this place is perfect for you!

ColombiaThe facilities are not great (showers, bed sheets), there was only one power plug in the room and there was no wifi in the third floor nor the terrace.
Very nice staff and location, great value.

United KingdomThe wi-fi was a little difficult to get in the room, but we didn't really have too many issues with this.
This hostel was an unexpected gem for us. We were greeted with mint tea and biscuits while we were checked in. The lady working at the hostel was really lovely and helpful to us, we got settled in pretty much right away. The breakfast was great as well, prepared by her every morning! The location was great, really easy to get to the main square and Bab Lakssour so it was easy to get picked up for any activity. The roof also had a great view of the sunset and was a great place to chill.

CanadaYou might go past the place the first time you try to find it as it’s a little hidden in a small alleyway. It also has limited amount of showers and washrooms for the number of people it can accommodate it. This wasn’t an issue during a slow season but I can imagine it being more of a thing with more people staying. Also you don’t get a key to a place, you need to ring a doorbell each time you come back which wasn’t a huge deal (never a long wait) but also bot the most convenient either.
Although not the easiest to find, you really need to know where to look to spot the sign for the hostel it’s in an amazing location, right in the middle of old town.

HungaryWifi was not working in our room, the beds were not too comfortable . Price is a bit high compared to prices in Morocco.
The hostel is in a really nice place, close to the centre. Staff is very nice, Hostel is clean and they are ready to help you with anything. The roof terrace is very vibey. Compared to European prices it's nice. Breakfast was small but they serve it fresh and its nice.

BulgariaThere were not enough sockets in the bedrooms and it was a bit dirty around. The WiFi was quite poor. There was no window in the room.
The staff was extremely nice and polite. The location was perfect and the rooftop was amazing. There was a local breakfast included and mint tea. Quiet enough to have a good sleep.

AustraliaI left my electronic book (kindle) in my room, it’s black and has my phone number on the inside cover. I’ll pay $50 euro plus postage costs to 286 Sandy Bay road, Sandy Bay, Tasmania 7005, Australia. (Also left my chunky adapter and iPhone cord if you decide to post) I was in the room one level up. Thank you!

NetherlandsSmoking in the common area is allowed and as quite a lot of people were smoking, it made being there less pleasant. The WiFi doesn't work on the second floor.
Well located in the Medina, close to the Jemaa El Fna square. The breakfast is good and included in the price. Staff is friendly, showers and toilets are clean.

SpainIt doesn’t have a lot of natural light and the spaces are smaller than what they look in the pictures.
I think that for the price I paid I got exactly what I was expecting. The price-quality ratio is accurate. It is an economic hostel for the least demanding travelers. The terrace is really calm to refresh yourself after a day of touring under the heat. The woman that welcomed me it was really kind and patient. She answered all my questions kindly. The location of the hostel is good, really close to Jemaa El Fna square.

United KingdomThe breakfast was nice but very basic. We also had no keys or any lockers to keep valuables safe. No air conditioning, so we had to choose between having a dark room by shutting the shutters or having air coming in to the room. But this is all fairly expected given the price.
The accommodation is really affordable given its location with a terrace and breakfast included. The staff were also lovely and cleaned the toilets an showers regularly. Comfort level is what you'd expect from a dorm room where people come and go at all times, but at a very reasonable price.
