Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PortugalBeautifully decorated riad near Place Lladim. Very comfortable room with a private bathroom. The owner is very nice and helpful and takes very good care of his guests. We didn't want to get soaked looking for a restaurant, so we decided to try eating at the riad and he gladly said that he could arrange dinner for 180MAD. A bit expensive but totally worth it since the food was so good. We had soup with bread, followed by lamb and prunes tajine with 3 different vegetable garnishes and finished with tea and traditional Moroccan biscuits. We dined in a very beautiful and cozy living room. A typical Moroccan breakfast was included and was enough to keep us going until sunset (it was Ramadan). They have 2 very nice terraces that we unfortunately couldn't use because of the rainy weather. It must be very pleasant in the warmer months. I totally recommend it!

AustriaThe most beautiful of the four riads we stayed in in Morocco. The shared spaces are almost like a gallery of applied arts. Large, comfortable bed. Three rooftop terraces! Extremely kind and understanding staff.

The Riad is very nice, with a beautiful traditional decoration. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The location is excellent, in the heart of the Medina. The breakfast is very good, served on a beautiful terrace overlooking the Medina. To highlight: the kindness of Rachid, who attended to all our needs and came to pick us up at the parking lot with help to carry our luggage to the room.

AustraliaWell located riad on the edge of the medina so not too difficult to find. The host is welcoming and attentive. The room and bathroom were generous in size and the wifi excellent. Traditional Moroccan breakfast was fine. Note that there is a large amount of restoration work going on in Meknes as at May 2023 so many of the sites are either closed or behind hoardings and not visible.

As an old Riad, it has a ton of character. The staff helped us book a taxi for Volubious, which was very smooth. Room was great

NetherlandsThe riad is a real sanctuary. It’s old but absolutely not in a negative way. It’s beautiful and very well maintained. Comfortable beds, comfortable shower and even comfortable toilet paper. The owner and staff really give a lot of attention to small things where many other hotels or riads don’t even think about. Very pleasant, patient and honest owner and staff. The food is one of the best Moroccan diners we had. You can sense it’s made with care and it’s made of fresh ingredients, delicious! If I could give 12 stars I would have done that. Thank you!

GermanyVery beautiful Riad in the middle of the medina of Meknes. We were a bit early, but were welcomed right away with a mint tea and could check in right away. The room and the whole building was amazing, very well restored. The owner was very welcoming for any questions and gave very good recommendations for local food and things to do in the city. The Breakfast was also very good, everything one could ask for. Overall a great experience! Thank you

Germanyalmost nothing. You'd better double-check the bill when you pay, whether the price is correct. There was a mistake in it but got solved and cleared in the end. Nothing to blame. This kind of mistake in general happens quite often in Morocco, like in restaurants and hotels.
it is quite a beautiful riad. The interior has awesome decorations and plants. It's quiet. The host Rachi has some connections with restaurants and Taxis. Through him you can get a private taxi to Volubilis and Monley Idriss with 400DH (as what I heard, all hotels there offer this price) for an around 4 hours trip. The taxi will wait for you outside the interests. The price is actually much higher than if you go by yourself directly to the square to get a taxi and negotiate by yourself. It's quite a popular business of the riads or hotels there. It's your choice.
