Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaThere was nothing to complain about.
The Riad Blu the sud was our first warm welcome arriving in Marrakesh with the hosts greeting us with tea and serving us information in our confused state. We were fascinated by the atmosphere of the centre of the Riad with the fountain, beautiful ambient music and the decoration with intense colors and patterns. We loved the rooms which extended the amazing feeling of arriving in the Riad. We slept very good and we were taken away by the otherworldly breakfast which changes everyday. They really put effort in giving us our best experience with a stress free check in and check out. Especially worthy is the effort from our host in helping us plan our trip to the desert. We would recommend it here because it's an oasis in the middle of Marrakesh where we could always unwind after the hectic medina.

United KingdomWe stayed in the Safia room which is on the ground floor, this did mean we were susceptible to noise; either people knocking at night, breakfast being set up in the morning, or cleaning at midday. The bed was quite rickety, and next to the window where people would sit or eat breakfast… what can I say, it’s not suitable for honeymooners! The only issue we encountered was with the other person who worked there, although we rarely saw her. We booked a transfer from the airport which we waited 40 mins for because the instructions told us to wait inside. Two expensive phone calls later we found the driver. When we told her this she said “no problem” even though it was… no sorry. We also explained that we are both vegan and my partner is allergic to nuts and yet every day at breakfast we were offered non vegan food and nut containing food, I assume she didn’t pass this message on. I cannot fault the young guy working here though, he did his very best and was wonderful.
The location is amazing, right near the souks and big square but very safe feeling. The young gentleman who seemed to work non stop was amazing, super friendly and helpful, and always available. The cleaning staff were also very lovely. The ac was good, and the room was clean and comfortable. The roof terrace was lovely to enjoy and the breakfast plentiful and varied. The riad is cool inside and beautifully decorated, the welcome was calm and easy, and we had help with anything we could’ve needed.

AustriaWe enjoyed a lot our stay at this amazing riad, which was perfectly located in an excellent neighbourhood in the heart of the old city of Marrakech. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The breakfast was very delicious, fresh and various from day to day. The staff were very kind and helpful. All credits go to Siham and her staff. Siham made us feel home, made us enjoy all the flavours of Marrakech through all the information she provided to us. My mom had her birthday and these guys surprised her with cake and candle light. For me and my mom this will be an unforgettable stay. We will for sure be back to this guests-friendly and beautiful riad with the most amazing ppl. Thank you, guys! See you soon! 🤗

HungaryThe most authentic place I have ever been. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The riad is much more beautiful in real life than in the pictures. The accommodation greatly contributed to the fact that we felt enchanted throughout Marrakech, as if we were in a fairy tale. I can recommend it to everyone who wants to experience the feeling of life in Morocco. The cleanliness was spotless. They take care of you and help organize local programs. Huge huge 10 points!!!

United States of AmericaIt was a little difficult to find at first, given the narrow streets of the city. More signage would have been helpful!
The riad was comfortable, the staff attentive, the breakfast was delicious. We were well taken care of throughout our time there. We loved the recommendations of things to do in the city and really enjoyed the insider knowledge of what to check out!

FinlandI really liked the personnel. All of them were so nice and always available to give a good service. The breakfasts were extremely good and very beautifully set at the table. The hotel gave me a good description of the tourist attraction opportunities closeby. They arranged the guide and transport services very well. I want to visit there some day.

So nice and perfect if you want to feel the morroco architecture in your stay. It is not a big and traditional hotel so be aware of small spaces but comfortable and really unique. The personnel are so kind and the server on breakfasts (can't remember his name) was the best.

United KingdomRoom a bit cramped. Could have benefitted from more staff presence. The pictures on booking.com are rather enhanced both in colour and perspective. It’s a beautifully restored riad but pictures could be more honest.
Excellent location not far from where taxis can park. Nice breakfast though too many carbs as always. Humble staff.

United States of AmericaWe selected this riad in part because of the bed size, which was advertised as a queen, but it turned out to only be a full and was quite tight for sharing with a non-romantic friend. There were a couple minor facility issues that occurred during our stay, one involving a broken heater in the room and one with a leaky shower. These were minor and can only be expected in a historic building such as this and as mentioned above, they were very quickly addressed by the staff who went as far as to go out and purchase a brand new space heater for the room when the in-room heater turned out not to be a quick fix.
The staff was truly exceptional - there were a few hiccups with the facility but every challenge was addressed quickly and professionally and both managers that were present during our stay were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure a great and relaxing experience for every one of their guests. Additionally, the decorations throughout the facility were traditional, cozy, and gorgeous. We had a wonderful stay!
