Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Wonderful welcome. The staff are happy and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was simple and delicious. Chicken kebabs are worth a try. Our massage was to die for, give it a go. 100% recommend this Riad for family’s, couples or just us mums that need a break.

This Riad is in a great location. Just a hundred meters away from where a car can drop you. Very quiet. Mosque with a square and several nice restaurants very close. Also close to some palaces and walking distance to the main square. The heated indoor pool makes this a fantastic location to stay in Marrakech. Very friendly staff and the rooms are super nice.

IsraelThe room is very basic, no TV The bathroom was very old, and was flooded after short shower. The hotel restaurant was not good. The hotel manager insisted in charging in Dirham the local currency, with unfavorable exchange rate and calculated the VAT twice, which resulted 60 euro extra charges.
The location is good. The team was very nice. Breakfast was very limitedted

United States of AmericaMy stay was absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. As our first introduction to Morocco, we could not have asked for a better experience. The room was spacious, food was delicious and the views were lovely. As someone who is non-Muslim, we had to get used to hearing them announce the morning prayer at the mosque nearby. Other than that, the hotel was in a central location and the staff goes out of their way to accommodate you and your needs. As an example, one morning we had to leave before breakfast officially began. The concierge made sure that breakfast was ready to go for us early even though it was not time to serve it as yet. We would definitely go back to this Riad.

The Riad was beautiful and the staff amazing & attentive. On my birthday the team made me feel special from the moment I woke to the moment I went to bed 😊 The location was fantastic, close to the sites but tucked away enough to be quiet. Would definitely recommend a hamman to relax after a day of sightseeing.... Loved this oasis in the madness of the city ❤️

IrelandNo handrail on the staircase to the rooms. Extra lights needed on rooftop around steps. Lunch took 2+ hours to be served when we arrived. If it can't be served promptly without pre-booking, don't offer lunch on the spot.
Nice decor and ambiance. Staff really good. Not too far to walk to get a taxi. Hotel will handle booking for all excursions, taxis, tours which is very convenient.

This beautiful Riad conveniently located in the Kasbah walking distance to the Medina, was an amazing new discovery. The personal is so welcoming and knowledgeable as well. Besides the delicious breakfast, I recommend to try lunch and or dinner. Their chef has a very fine and authentic flavor of Moroccan food. The rooms and big and nicely decorated, I will definitely stay there next in Marrakesh.

FranceIn January, it was a little bit chilly in the hall of the hotel where breakfast and other meals are served. If you are booking a standard room I'd recommend to ask for a quite room. We did not, and our was a little bit noisy as the kitchen was on the other side of the wall from our bed and the only window was looking in the main hall. Rooms on the 2nd flor seemed to be nicer, but were not available when we were booking. I recommend asking for those.
Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast with pancakes, and some fruit. Overall a comfortable room with quality bedding and nice bathroom.

ColombiaThe location can be crowdy but it was what we were expecting, cultural sorroundings inside the medina.
The staff was amazing, we even book an extra night. They prepared everything, from taxi drives to day trips to the Valley and Agafay in a super comfy car. Hot water and clean rooms for the cold winter!

FinlandMe and my family had a wonderful stay at Riad Dar Alfarah during christmas. A friend recommended the Riad and I am very happy that we could stay there. The staff was very helpful, friendly and funny and the hotel manager organised everything we wanted to do and was always available. We couldn’t be more happy about our stay. Even though the Riad located in the middle of the Medina it was really quiet. The rooftop terrace and the pool area were nice places to relax after a long day.

ColombiaI didn't like that services in the Riad were overpriced. I asked the price to be picked up from the train station, which is a 10-minute drive to the Riad. I was told that the price was 150 MAD and then later told it was 160 MAD. Instead, I took a cab from the train station to the Riad for 50 MAD. I would be mindful of accepting services before knowing the actual price range. Also, I did a hammam and a massage for 650 MAD. I did enjoy the fact that the hammam was private. However, there are hammams in the neighborhood for half the price. This is important to note if you are traveling on a budget.
I loved that this Riad was in a central location. It was about a 10-minute walk directly to the city center where you could find shops, ATMs, and other activities.

Highly recommend this Riad which is in a fantastic central location and a quiet street. Mohammed and his team go out of there way to make you feel relaxed and at home here. From giving information on how to get around, to booking restaurants and organising excursions or just being available to ask about anything at all. Excellent Hammam with best ever massage. Rooms was always clean, foods was delicious and our favorite part was poolside was always warm. Riad's Manager Mr. Mohamed was very kind, helpfull and hospitable for us. He was always talking with us and asked everthing is okay, also gave us many informations about city and tours. His team was also very kind and helpfull, especially Mr. Yaşem. SpainIf I had to say a couple of things to be improved... The shower in room #1 drained too slowly, and the water got accumulated there easily. Pillows were a bit too thick, even for a thick-pillow person like me
Our stay was great. The Riad is well located, easy to find, and close enough to the Medina and to a driving street, so we only needed to walk for 2 minutes after the taxi dropped up. The receptionist came to the taxi to escort us. It is a quiet area, but feels very safe. Breakfast was quite good (not a buffet, but a served selection of Moroccan omelettes and pancakes) and the place is exactly as it looks in the pics: slick, modern, clean, comfortable, and very stylish. Did I say it was really clean? Awesome value for money! Our receptionist-waiter-man for everything, Achraf, went the extra mile to help, always with a smile on his face, and was very helpful! Being a gay couple staying in a king size bed room, we felt super comfortable at all times, not judged, and smiled at all times. Would return there anytime! The size of the bed, bedroom, bathroom and shower were quite big!

United KingdomThe Dar is right next to the mosque and you will be woken up by the call for prayer at sunrise. This might be the case for many properties in Marrakesh, I’m not sure. The breakfast was ok. It could definitely do with some eggs and protein, only bread and pancakes are served with small bowl of sliced apples. Coffee is not great.
The Dar is really lovely with very helpful and wonderful staff, that went above and beyond trying to make our stay absolutely perfect. Do ask for recommendations on where to eat and they will organise the trips for you in the best possible way! Very comfortable bed and beautiful terrace as well as the pool area
