Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomRoom light was very dim, and the bed arrangement was quite awkward, felt there was a better way to arrange the beds to maximise walking space
The Riad itself was very beautiful. Was in a good location in the medina next to Jemaa el Fnaa and was a very good price.

United KingdomNot sure if the AC in our room worked as we couldn't get a response from the owner about it 🤭. Toiletries like shower gel stock given is limited. Also, the breakfast is pancakes and cake everyday( sorry not to my liking!!)
Very helpful and friendly staff. Our flight was delayed on the checkout day and we were allowed to stay in the lounge for free as long as we wanted. The proximity of the Riad to the Jemaa-El-Fanaa . The rooms serve the basic necessities. We didn't mind as we were on a budget travel and were out most of the time. Only inside for lunchtime nap and night.

United KingdomMy only criticism was that the loo in my room needs to be more firmly attached to the floor as it was really shaky to get on an off and I was frightened of breaking it.
It was a lovely place in a great location. The hosts were super accommodating and helped the short stay with great recommendations and suggestions. The upstairs and roof terrace are great spaces to unwind.

United KingdomThere was an issue with the shower but this was addressed immediately by staff so no problems at all.
Perfectly located. The rooms are basic but clean and have everything you need. It’s a small Riad but functions perfectly and the staff are great.

United KingdomThe roof top has no view of the square or Koutoubia, while I personally exprect to see those. Lighting in the room can be better designed as it is either too dark or too shiny.
I'd say it is comfortable living here. Only 200m from the square but free from noise. Traditionally designed old house in a typical narrow alley. Room is big and mostly clean. Many communal spaces to use for relaxation. Very basic breakfast but good enough.

IndonesiaSo far so good!
The service is very helpful! The location is also very strategic, because it's near the night market, within the traditional market so everything is accessible and affordable.

SpainWe had some problems and tried to call the riad for a whole day, but they didn’t answer until we got there.
The riad is right in the centre and you have the Jemaa el-Fna just 2 minutes away. The environment is safe and the beds are really comfortable. The staff is also amazing and helped us with everything. They even prepared the breakfast and left it in our room the night before we left, since it was too early to have breakfast at the riad.

SpainThe suite is too big for the air conditioning to be noticed, so with high temperatures it gets hard to sleep. However, it has a big window that can be opened and some fresh air comes in.
The riad is very close to the Medina and the staff is amazing. They treat you well and help you with everything you need and more.

PortugalThe location was great. 2 min walk from the square Jemaa el Fnaa but still really calm and away from the noise. The breakfast is served in the rooftop and that was really a bonus but it doesn’t have much diversity. The owners were nice people and helped us with everything we needed. Overall experience was great, if we ever come back to marrakech, we’ll stay here again.

BulgariaThe accommodation wasn’t that clean and it looked a little bit neglected. The room didn’t really looked like the photos and I would say that the whole property was not maintained good.
The location was more then perfect, just 5 minutes from the main square. The staff was really nice with great attitude and made our visit much more enjoyable! The last day we had to leave really early in the morning, around 7am, and the host had left us the breakfast and the coffee in front of our room, which showed their hospitality. Also, the terrace was with amazing view to the Atlas Mountain.

LithuaniaAt first we thought that price was good, but we stayed in a few more riads and you can get better quality room for the same price. (But he helped us to save with a tour, so that's not that bad) Worst thing was the smell from the bathroom.. You couldn't get rid of it, and you couldn't properly close the bathroom door (we used a piece of paper to keep it closed) but even that couldn't stop the smell.
Host is great. He met us where taxi dropped us and leaded us to the riad. First think he did, took a map and marked on it what to visit where to eat and gave basic information that we needed. Location is perfect, 5 min away from the main square. He also arranged our 3 days tour to Merzouga, and saved us around 50% of the price that you typically find online. Breakfast was really good. And because we had to leave early for the tour, it was prepared for as from the late evening.

United KingdomBathroom was very small and pokey but functional. A little shabby, but we like that!
The owner was really helpful and arranged an airport transfer for us for 15 euros and then came to meet us where we were dropped off and walked us to the Riad. The location was perfect for us, 5 mins walk to the main square. Despite being so close to the square it was really amazingly quiet in the Riad. Plenty of food for breakfast and mint tea. Beds were very comfortable. Hot water showers. Extra blankets to keep warm on cooler nights. Nice and traditional looking. Nice roof terrace and views over the City.

United KingdomThe wifi broke down for nearly 24 hours while we were there. The sheets were very thin and one had a hole in.
This is in an excellent location, close to the main square but down a quiet street. The breakfast was generous and delicious, and the riad accommodated a really early start providing a packed breakfast the night before. Everyone was really friendly and helpful and kind to my son.
