EcuadorThis is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Monaco. The view from our very sophisticated and attractive room was of the Mediterranean Sea and the Casino. The hotel is elegant inside and out with friendly and very professional staff. The food and drinks were excellent, and the location is hard to beat. We highly recommend the Metropole and will undoubtedly stay here again on our next visit.

United KingdomThe pool area was closed and they only informed us of this when we arrived. we had booked the hotel specifically for the pool area. They did accommodate us at another hotel for swimming but the extra transportation wasted a lot of our time. Also, the club sandwich was priced at €43 which is a bit outrageous in any hotel at that price. There was only one server serving drinks and one chef taking food orders so we waited a long time to order and receive food and drinks.
Very personable staff. The welcome drink and whole welcome experience. The room had beautiful views and was very comfortable. The evening entertainment with the jazz piano player.

United Arab EmiratesI believe the breakfast can be improved, the value of the breakfast is not like a 5 star hotel, It was limited for instance they served only scrambled eggs every day and it was not looking fresh and hot while all other 5 star hotels which I had been before had been served all different types of eggs and also they provided live cooking station that I think Metropole had missed this option, I think they need to do some changes and provide a better breakfast.
The hotel location was perfect, it was very close to the sea side and also 3 min walk to the Casino and restaurants, the staffs were helpful and welcoming, the decoration of lobby and restaurants in hotel were so pretty and luxury, my room was very clean and comfy with a nice small city view balcony, the hotel has very lovely terrace that breakfast is served there and I really enjoy sitting in this terrace while having my breakfast.

Though with a hotel that is apparently up in ranking - for Monaco’s standards - I personally would expect more. On contrary, the interior of hallway at reception as well as bar, restaurant, terrace is very nice!
Friendly, professional staff towards all guests. The atmosphere has a calmness and sophistication - again mainly due to their staff’s attitude. Very enjoyable! Location is extremely near to Monaco’s casino.

UkraineYou have to know, that there are some Superior Double rooms without bathtub ( only shower), and no balcony at all ( only window). The room is very small. Not worth the money. It’s better to upgrade to the next category. To little sun beds, always occupied, you have to wait when somebody leaves.

IraqIts very old, wallpapers were coming off the walls of the rooms, the carpets smell of disgusting humidity, the hallways smell of old-ness, overall, if you’re paying 1.5k+ per night, the staff should be servants of the guests, because thats what you’re payong for, to br served. Staff had this weird ego attitude which wasnt too nice. One more big problem, the housekeeping gives you 2 bottles of 250 ml water a day for free and if you want more you have to pay 13 euros per bottle!!!! So late at night you might as well drink from the tap than buy water for 13 euros from these thieves

United KingdomThe room was not very large for the cost. Breakfast only offered salty undercooked scrambled eggs and I had to pay 8€ for two very odd fried eggs. We ate at Yoshi which is a very beautiful restaurant, unfortunately the food ranged between absolutely high quality beautiful sushi and sashimi to some very tasteless other dishes on the Haru menu. I would highly recommend the sushi and sashimi as this is first class, it is probably wiser to order a la carte as I did see some other very nice things at other tables. I had the impression the pool would be opened but it wasn’t. In their book they describe it as winter and summer, some miss communication here.
The hotel lobby is beautiful and the staff are very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was good and the bathroom in the room was of a high quality. The gym was well equipped and the heat experience was not bad. It is of course a perfect location for Monte Carlo and a beautiful building. The rooms are quiet.

Brazilthe gentleman who was at the reception at night, treated me very badly, he wanted me to rent a room for double the price, when I presented the reservation on Booking.com he said that there was no room available that I had booked and extremely ignorant, so he called a woman who was also super rude, after calling someone he said he had a room. I arrived super tired from the trip, I went through this stress. the only polite people are baggage handling and breakfast. I was extremely disappointed I will not return to this hotel
