United Kingdom1. Chauvinist dismissive attitude of male staff esp in dining areas to solo female travellers - ignored, often and very sporadic service 2. Annoying music every night means no option of sleep before 11pm- double glazed windows insufficient. Wake-up is the prompt 6:30am mobilisation of room cleaning trolley… hence not much sleep for an island holiday! I Categorically requested the quietest room and the hotel is designed pretty much so every room is facing the evening entertainment area. So know there is no alternative to this. While it was great so participate some nights… it shouldn’t affect one’s sleep

IrelandSome of the waiters didn't wipe down the tables before resetting for next customer for breakfast, you could smell coffee in your tea as flasks were probably mixed.
Variety of choices on buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Clean beach, fantastic view of the bay, live entertainment and good location. 3rd stay but didn't write a review on previously, so thought would be a good thing to leave a feedback this time. A big thank you to some of the staff members who looked after us namely: Deepak, Vishnou Ramlugun, Satish Ancharaz, Vikash Rungloll and Vikash Bundhoo from kitchen team - Sawan Choolun, Vishal Appalsamy, Savan, Ali and Nitin from Restaurant - Krishna and Govind from reception.

Very clean, with really good food and the staff was very friendly and always helpful. We also had our civil ceremony and the wedding planner did everything perfectly.

United KingdomJust spent 4 nights at Mauricia. I have never before met such lovely and welcoming staff in my many travels. Right from the time we checked in when we met Mr Krishna who helped us complete all the formalities and was always available to answer any queries and help in any way possible going way above and beyond what I would expect. We had a lovely experience with the F and B team all of whom were really nice, Mr Nitin form F and B went way out of his way to make us feel at home. Cannot speak highly enough of chef Satish, when he came to know that we were vegetarian he specially prepared an amazing meal just for us. Also have to thank Mr Long and his team from Club Nautica, they were so enthusiastic and helpful with all the activities we undertook, they took a real interest and taught us how to water Ski. All in all a wonderful experience thanks to the amazing and genuinely friendly staff, would whole heartedly recommend. Rahul

North MacedoniaProbably organization of the outdoor activities can be improved, especially transport to different beaches, the most popular places and sightseeing points. Although the hygiene in the room is at satisfied level, it can be improved with eliminating the bad smell that sometimes comes from the bathroom and the ants that can be found, especially if some food is left in the room.
Great place for people that like big resorts, everything situated at one place. The room was comfortable, with view towards the pool and the nearby beach. The breakfast and dinner were great, with a different varieties of food. Also, the open night parties near the pool were nice. The Grand Baie beach is OK compared to the other beaches in the north, but still, there are better beaches nearby, at the west side, which can be reached by taxi.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The service is excellent with such friendly and polite staff to tend to all your needs. The all inclusive package was great value, with a variety of food and drinks on offer. We really enjoyed the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets, with lunch and dinner constantly changing. The freshly baked bread and pastries were great and we loved the egg/omelette, pizza, pasta stations. The activities on offer were also great and we made the most of it - water skiing, tennis, kayaking, gym, spa, etc. Would happily come back!

United KingdomSometimes the water supply would cut out and once it happened mid shower which was very annoying At the time of booking it stated that hotel transfer was included with stays of more than four nights but the booking.com page had changed when I checked back and we were informed there would be a charge Clearer communication about what is and isn't included with each room package would be good. We were half board but no drinks were included at dinner time, not even soft drinks or water. As a few people have stated only one bottle of water was provided as complimentary in the room for the entire stay.
Great hotel within walking distance of Grand Baie. The hotel's private beach was lovely and there were always a lot of loungers available. It's easy to get to Port Louis for a day trip too if you want to check it out. The rooms were spacious and airy with a spectacular view of the pools and beach behind. The staff were extremely friendly especially Asraf who cleaned our room. Good variety of food at breakfast and dinner for our half board stay

NetherlandsIn the room: lights are not enough independant and Airco noisy. space for cloth is rather small and not made for long outfits, no dedicated place for shoes. The music from the bar is loud every evening up to 23:00 (ask for quiet, furthest room). Would expect some day off ;-) Bu no major showstopper and very pleasant place.
The place is perfectly located when you want to combine stay at the resort and take benefit of the town. Grand Baie is a walk distance. The resort is well maintained with a nice view of the Bay. The sport facilities are very well equipped from nautical (ski, sailing and glass bottom boat, kayak,….) to tennis, fitness room and outdoors with Volleyball field, pétanque…..the room is with a very comfy king bed and quiet. All at easy distance to restaurant The team is very professional, friendly and attentive to customer needs. They try all their best and we fill pampered. The gardens are beautiful and ultra well maintained. Nice show of 1h every evening that shows the culture of the Mauritius Island (Indian, Mauritian dance night)

RomaniaThe hotel needs serious renovation and improvement, especially the bathroom. Some meals at the buffet were quite bland (some curry meals). The attitude of some employees at the restaurant can be improved (we were trying to take a seat at a random table at the buffet, and one lady yelled that is reserved even though there was no sign of reservation. The gym is a joke for a 4-star hotel. Few, old, and rusty equipment and quite small for such a large resort. The food at the a la carte restaurant was average.
Liked the fact that the hotel was split having a dedicated section for honeymooners. The food menu was diverse, with a lot of options, and most of them were different every day. Being in honeymoon offered us a range of gifts to choose (massage at the SPA, dinner at the a la carte restaurant). The position of the hotel is also very good, in the heart of Grand Baie, having a lot of shops, restaurants, bar and supermarkets just outside the hotel. Also, it is near the public beach, where a lot of daily boat trips are taking place to Ilot Gabriel and Ile Plat. A lot of water activities are offered (kayak, stand up paddle, water bicycle etc)
