The room gets kind of damp during the night/day, so the smell of humidity stays. Cant vent the room because of the mosquitoes outside - no leaving open windows.

We liked everything about this hotel! The staff are super nice & helpful. The location is a bit far (15 min) from downtown cosumel, but that is why its so magical. Marine life on the hotels beach is so beautiful.

Fantastic getaway to celebrate our anniversary. Staff, facilities, food, activities were excellent. Breakfast was great and went until 11:30 am. We tried 3 out of 4 on site restaurants and they were good too. Staff at pool and beach were excelent with special thanks to Fabian and Tomas. The only draw back was - the beers were not cold enough 😆😄. We love a super cold beer by the beach. Definitely recommended!!!!

The servers at all the restaurants we were at as well as the beachside bar were not pleasant. I’m not sure why but none of them were warm or welcoming and they seemed bothered to be working/serving us. It was unfortunate because the people working in he lobby were so kind and helpful. The bar staff and restaurant staff were not and it took away from the experience.

The grounds are stunning. The layout is perfect and everything was clean and organized and easy to find. The rooms were gorgeous and the view is insane! I loved the shower in the rooms as well as the bed. Super comfortable. The decor was tasteful as well.

The compound has 4 restaurants on it - 2 are very kid friendly and with all the different menu options, we don't have to leave the resort. They also have an onsite store which had everything we needed from baby medicine to an aqua shirt for my very sunburned back. Again, a bonus that we don't have to leave the property and we had everything we needed.

Front desk staff are kind of snobs. However the rest of the staff was amazing.

Amazing facilities since you hit the entrance of the property. Room and facilities were pristine and well cared. The hotel had 3 different beaches you can enjoy. The beaches are clear blue water and you can relax or snorkel. I loved it.

Its a little far from city center and need a taxi/car to get around cozumel. The waters in front of the hotel have busy traffic which makes watersports like jet ski a little limited.

Fantastic location. Great staff. The snorkeling locations are beautiful with clear waters and well protected for the swimmers. We did a 4 hours snorkeling tour with the hotel's services and they were fantastic. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Also all ancillary services like car rental etc were fantastic!

There was the usual people putting towels out on lounge chairs early, but we were able to get a spot near where we wanted to be most of the time.

There was a dive shop on site, which was great for scuba diving. The snorkeling right off shore was great also. The restaurants were all very good.

The bed was very good with the exception of a small but important detail - the pillows were not good at all, in fact they were kind of annoying, very soft and could not support my head properly.

Exceptional quality for the services offered - location, staff, cleanliness. The beach is small but is amazing nonetheless, in any case it is perfect to learn how to snorkel and even scuba dive. The breakfast was particularly phenomenal. Better to book in advance to get a decent price.

chaises were a bit worn; when I switched credit cards from the hold I put on the first day to a different card to pay at check out, I was not remibursed the full dollar amount of my hold and was told via email by the front desk that it wasn't them it was my credit card company, but that is not true--what they did was tell me the charge was in dollars but then reimburse in pesos, which change from day to day. misleading at best and a rip off at worst.

The big swimming pool was dirty

All was clean except the big swimming pool. We could see the bottom of the pool was dirty. Great breakfast, best location in the island, great staff: David at Faro restaurant, Krishna is the best scuba instructor, Adriana from Scuba Du was friendly, Karla at the concierge desk was very helpful. We’re looking forward to stay there again.

Only gripes were the cost of food and drinks. Quite expensive and there’s no bars or restaurants nearby. The addition of tea making facilities for us Brits would have been perfect. Cost of scuba diving and kit hire at in-house dive centre was prohibitive so we arranged our diving through a local tour operator (based in PDC) which was significantly cheaper.

Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Great choice. Lovely freshly prepared omelettes. Lots of fruit, yoghurts, nuts, meats, cheeses, pastries etc. Delighted to see they had good range of tea for us Brits, especially the Earl Grey. We were delighted that the staff seemed happy to provide boxes so we were able to take away uneaten food which helped to keep us fed over lunchtime, always a welcome bonus when travelling on a budget!!!!! Rooms were spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage space, coffee maker, mini bar with complimentary drinks. 2 large bottles of water provided daily. Gorgeous pool areas with fabulously warm jacuzzi. Man made beach with easy access to sea which was good for snorkelling. Fab gym facilities with plenty of equipment for a decent work out. Great tennis court. Staff were very efficient and courteous.

Le Cap is the best place to hang, but it takes forever to get a drink. I'd suggest more staff.

The rooms are huge and the ocean front views are some of the best I've seen on the island. The dive shop onsite is great and very accommodating. Dinner at Faro Blanco was one of our favorite meals of the trip.
