Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeNothing, except above about location. But not an issue if you want peace and good vibes.
It’s just out of the official hotel zone so it was nice for quiet chill.

DenmarkI already wrote in my other review that one should choose carefully a place in Cancun, and Sina Suites was definitely the best option for us. Remember to visit their restaurant, where Ramiro will welcome you with his great hospitality and different options for food and drinks. Enjoy!

NetherlandsCool location away from the noise of Cancun - good facilities and very helpful staff. They go the extra mile to help you out with questions. Location is slightly far (can be a pro or a con depending on what you want). Need a bus ride to get to Cancun center. But there are restaurants in walking distance.

DenmarkEverything was perfect. As a general advice for Cancun, avoid bookings of condos if you don’t want cockroaches.
Perfect location, cozy and clean. A big thanks to all receptionists, especially Abril! We enjoyed the space in the rooms, little garden, pool and of course the restaurant and bar! A big thanks to Ramiro for the fancy drinks and food. The hotel accepts USD currency at good rate. We got a good discount for the ferry to La Isla de mujeres, which btw. includes access to the panoramic tower! There is 24 h reception and it’s possible to refill water. There is a mini-kitchen in the rooms.

Me and my mum stayed at Sina Suites for 3 nights. The room was really big and clean. There were lots of towels available for the room, pool and the beach at no charge. The pool was quiet and lovely and we used it each morning and night. The staff was friendly and recommended a wonderful public beach to visit. Walking to the La Isla mall along the road takes 1 hour. There are taxis available to get around too. We also enjoyed using the kitchen and having breakfast on our terrace with lagoon views each morning! Would recommend this stay. It is great value for money!

United KingdomI would have liked wall sockets closer to the bed but that's a very minor issue!
The hotel is in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the central parts of the Hotel Zone and beaches which was exactly what I was looking for. My room was very large and clean, the grounds and the staff were lovely, the pool very nice and the breakfast available from the poolside bar was very good. Local shops and restaurants are a short walk away as were bus stops. I found the wifi very good. Tortugas beach wasn't far away (I walked).

United KingdomIt was a great stay these are only tiny details. WiFi wasn’t the strongest at living rooms are but perfectly fine in the rest of the room. Also not many outlets
Absolutely amazing staff! I read reviews prior to the trip that said the staff was amazing but honestly beyond expectations! We stayed for quite a long time so we got a bigger room than we originally should’ve get. Staff was really helpful and amazing everything was clean. Bartender Ramiro makes really good cocktails which we really didn’t expect from a hotel bar! Best margarita we had in Cancun. We were also pleasantly surprised by the food. It’s definitely not a party place like most hotels in Cancun but people were socializing by the pool. We had a great time and would 100% recommend!

United States of AmericaThere wasn't much that we didn't like...
The hotel is located on the inner lagoon which was more secluded than the regular hotel hoards on the beach. The beach is in walking distance and public transportation is available regularly (busses). The hotel garden around the pool was peaceful and our floor level room looking out at the garden and pool was perfect. The servers were great - always ready to help and the food was surprisingly good for the small restaurant that it was. We met folks there that had come to Cancuun regularly during the winter months and they said that they had 'done' the regular 'beach hotel scene' but found Sina Suites and have come back over the years.

NetherlandsSina Suites is a great hotel, which I recommend. The hotel has a good location, you can easily take a bus to go to one of the many beaches (walking is also an option of course) or to downtown Cancùn. Furthermore, the hotel has a quiet location and it has a big green beautiful area with a pool from where you can enjoy the view of the lagoon. The hotel is clean, well maintained and the employees are friendly and helpful. When we arrived, the receptionist Abrìl was amazing, she explained to us where to go , how to go there and she provided very useful tips. The other receptionists were also friendly. The bartender working in the evenings, was also a great guy , making small talk and lovely cocktails. All the employees made us feel welcomed, we even got a free complementary breakfast at the end of the stay. Our room was very spacious and the mattresses were comfortable. The hotel does not provide organized excursions but it is very easy to arrange them via many of the tour guides or via an app. I arranged 3 group excursions via an app and the pick up location was 10-15 min walking from Sina Suites, which was great. Overall, Sina Suites is a place which is not in the busy area of Cancùn where you can relax and enjoy quiet time. If you want, you can easily take the bus and go wherever you wish.
