There was 7 of us and we tried to book the villa with one bedroom and private pool for 4 (as you can add an extra bed, they have a double bed already and a sofa bed) and room with pool access for the other 3 (double bed + add extra bed). However they were very strict about it and so had to book an extra room with pool access. They provided the Qibla direction but I'm surprised that they didn't provide prayer mats (which usually are provided in most hotels I've been to in Malaysia). The stay was absolutely amazing but is it reaaaally worth £803/RM4800 per night in Malaysia? I'm sure we could've find something similar but at a better price if we'd looked hard enough. There is a 3 bedroom villa but was unavailable at the time and the prices were probably hiked up because of the school holidays as well. We all ended up spending most of the time in the villa with the bedroom and not really in the other 2 rooms. So if you're coming in a large group to actually all spend time together, maybe book the 2 or 3 bedroom villa. If you can't, then maybe find a different place.

Since it was a small property; there are probably only 3 or 4 villa with private pool and maybe 5 rooms with pool access, the reception were already expecting us and check in was very easy. We broke the bidet rubber hose accidentally and they replaced it very promptly with no extra charge. The photos are definitely not an exaggeration. The rooms looks exactly like in the photos, maybe even better. Since it's been so long that our family managed to gather in one place (albeit for just 2D1N!) and the place was this beautiful resort, I can definitely say we had a wonderful time catching up, playing in the pool, and then playing more games in the comfortably spacious lounge. Ended the day with a good movie and then had a great sleep !

The villa was showing some signs of wear and tear (paint peeling off the walls, inner walls of the private pool were decolourised in places, etc.). The management should take care to maintain these aspects of the property as they are noticeable. Some of the living room furniture in the villa was different to that pictured on booking.com and other sites. I guess they’ve replaced the furniture over time, and whilst still generally comfortable, online images should be updated to give an accurate picture. Staff sometimes made mistakes in our breakfast/room service orders. Nothing major and this is probably due to the language barrier among some members of staff. But not a big deal, the food was great!

Beautiful villa with ample space, 2 TVs and a generous complimentary mini-bar. The staff were lovely and extremely friendly, making you feel at home. They provide a WhatsApp number for the reception desk which you can call/message and the responses were mostly instant. They also offered a range of activities in Langkawi through third-party providers (mangrove tour, island hopping, etc) and booked these on our behalf, which was convenient and saved time in looking around for different providers. The breakfast was quite good, with a range of options (not a buffet but you place your order by 7pm the night before from an a la carte menu), and the all-day menu was great too - good food at reasonable prices and promptly delivered to your room. We did not use the spa but the options on offer seemed well-priced.

They cannot boil the perfect egg (a joke we had with the staff). It was a joke but their response was to take it seriously and before we finished breakfast they had at the table three eggs boiled for 3, 4, and 5, minutes. so the next day my egg would be perfect. The point is no where else would that have happened. A true indication of just how much effort they were willing to put in to make their guests happy.

The staff here are excellent, well trained and happy; and it shows. It shines trough every experience making our stay at the property a most enjoyable experience.

We love everything about our stay, we came earlier at around 12pm and since our villa is available they allow us to check in early. Very nice welcome drink - we got peach tea Our villa is Soo spacious, the pool is the biggest I ever saw for a private villa so far and our room were totally beautiful. Food is great, breakfast is not a buffet but they have a variety of choice to choose from and we choose dining in room which is very convenient. Our minibar is free with lots of choice n free refill everytime we want. We have 2 TV in our villa with Soo many choice of channel and smart TV with Netflix too. Last but not least, staff was great , very friendly and Very helpful ,love them.

Lack of black lipton tea bags and fresh milk (a must when we’re British!) but didn’t stop us going out to buy some ourselves.

Staff were very accommodating and looked after us really well - thanks for booking us tours and bringing breakfast directly to the room for us to enjoy! The room was amazing, the bed was huge and the pool was huge. There were plenty of snacks in the fridge for you to help yourselves to and lots of bathroom additions such as toothbrushes in case you forget anything. We had spa treatments which were brilliant. The bar in the resort was brilliant, albeit quiet as not many guests staying when we were there. Would highly recommend and breakfast was delicious.

For us, the best thing about LaVilla was the staff. They were all extremly friendly and offered excellent customer service. The rooms were also a good size, comfortable, and kept in good order. Entry to the pool from room is very pleasent.
