There are no freshly squeezed juices in the menu which is a pity. Both pools have no cooling so water is rather warm (although still cooler than the sea ;)

The resort is very well located, the staff is amazingly nice and helpful, two pools, two restaurants (breakfasts were just fine, however menu a'la carte was very satisfying). The beach is clean, as are the apartments - I would especially recommend those with lake and/or beach view. The resort is close to the Pantai Cenang city and the Thursday night market (a must - it's a walking distance).

- checkin - they demanded we pay again when we checked in because I had changed my bank card. This is likely a unique experience but we felt like it was poor customer service - no aircon in lobby or restaurants so felt like we couldn’t escape the humidity apart from in our room

Incredible hotel, of the 5 hotels that I stayed during my 3 week tour of Singapore and Malaysia, this hotel was defintly my most favorite one. Clean, spacious, modern, relaxed, everything from A to Z was fantastic, my only regret is that I wasn`t able to stay longer. I will send my son and his family to this hotel. My 3rd visit here: If you like something more outside of the resort you are visiting then Cenang beach is one of the best on Langkawi. Pelangi’s location is ideal at the end of this beach. No passers through but next to beach bars, jet ski rentals etc. I’ll be back in 2 months.

We only had two problems with this hotel. Firstly the beds and pillows are too hard and sleeping was quite uncomfortable at times. Secondly, the Cascade Pool with its swim up bar needs to be kept for adults who want to escape from the noise of children. There is already a children’s pool elsewhere on the property with play equipment provided. We had to make a complaint about a child who screamed for hours in this pool, spoiling the relaxing vibe for the adults who were trying to have some peace and quiet. Also, some parents were putting their babies with nappies into the pool which we found disgusting to say the least. This is such a relaxing space and should be kept that way for those wanting a calm break from the noise elsewhere.

We were very happy with the warm hospitality of the staff members who treated us as if we were a part of their extended family. The grounds, the location, the facilities, the spectacular gardens and property layout were very pleasing indeed. It really gives you the feeling you are staying in a beautiful, authentic Malay village. The beach is clean and great for swimming and walking. We found the whole experience relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable.

Only two restaurants open on site when we visited, one western and one eastern but food all good and more restaurants and shops nearby offsite (15 min walk along beach or 5 min taxi ride). Minor point but some of the tiles on paths and near pool need maintenance to keep this place pristine.

Everything. Location right on beach with stunning views. Luxury rooms in two story buildings with all mod cons. The staff were all amazing. Two swimming pools, one with a swim up bar. Great location with short walk along beach to local bars and restaurants.

The service at the beach restaurant, Pelangi Grill needs work, breakfast was disorganised and one evening we waited over 1.5 hours for our meal to be served, by contrast the Asian restaurant was well managed

The warm welcome, the small blocks of accommodation made the stay more personal. Every member of staff greeted you when you passed them. Resort was clean and well laid out. Facilities were excellent

The temperature of the pools was a little warm. The price of water was extortionate.

The facilities were excellent. We had a wonderful time. The property was located on the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was great and had options for every taste and palate. My 3 year old son particularly enjoyed the waffles with chocolate sauce!
